Why would it be a joke?
Has learned the ropes from a very experienced manager in John Still & has done ok at a club that doesn't have the structure or resources of our club, yet has been his own man. He could be a good fit for the club.
I would like Phil Parkinson or Neil Harris, but maybe they don't want to drop to our level.
