I can't understand the hate on CW. I reckon he's decent, far too good for the National League
He's also better than Zech imo.

I listened to Nigels interview. Lots of praise for DOF, the way players moved on, new players in, players back from injury but I didn't hear anything about Richie. Add that to him disappearing after the match plus we have a two week break makes me wonder if he's moving on.
Yeah I think his interview echoes what a chunk of the fans think in as much as the squad looks more than decent this time round so the results need to follow suit

It’s not ‘hate’ to think one of your teams football players isn’t very good.

CW has also provided a good few chances, the last of which was an excellent one missed by Mitchell. Thats why he is picked

Do you mean the ball he looped into Kabia, overhit it, but Demi did really well to anticipate and get ahead of the right back and get a shot away?
Mate, come on now.

Out of interest did you continually share your obsession about Sam Ling ?

No Groombridge, Fresh Alias, I didn’t. You must be thinking of someone else.

Although funny you should mention it, Sam Ling only ever played League football for us under Lingys mate Emblefud, before returning to the depths of non league, where he has only ever played for Lingys mate Daryl McMahon. Makes you think, doesn’t it.

Indeed, Ling Jr was a perfectly adequate NL defender but miles out of his depth in League 2

It was actually a question not an accusation, being new to this board I just don’t get this obsession of yours with Wellens junior , everybody knows your opinion just a bit boring and uninteresting this repetitive moaning .

Do people have alias accounts they just sit on for years? Really weird behaviour.

It was a strange one. Personally thought he struggled at National League, one of those players that just doesn't influence a game because they're not at that level. Also makes you wonder how he spent so long in our academy as a kid, especially as we were a L1 club when he was there.

I will throw this one out there too, another player who shouldn't be getting near this squad is Theo Archibald.

Unfortunately you are correct, on current form pretty poor.
When the others return from injury he may struggle to make the 18.
Love Theo, but it’s just not there right now.

Has looked off it in his last couple of appearances, no doubt. The only question is if it's a temporary blip or his new level.

I don't think he is up to the level required now, injuries have caught up and also bulked up far too much.
He looks lost at times, final ball and decisions are woeful.
I think from the winger we signed him, he has transformed majorly.

Yeah, I'm not sure what he's done over the summer but he looks miles off it.

Somebody needs to tell him to stay away from the weights. It’s football not a body building competition.

He didn’t have much of a pre season, and most of the minutes he did have were in the 9 role.
I wouldn’t write him off just yet.

It’s sacrilegious to say it but Theo’s best season with us was the first one when he was on loan back in 2021/22.
If we didn’t have the emotional ties with him regarding the injury comeback he’d have been offloaded by now.
