Oh yes. A manager with 30 games experience and a wrong 'un to boot. Just what we need.
Managerial record by team and tenure

To 15 August 2019
P 30 W 8 D 12 L 10
Win % 26.7

How is he a wrongun?
He was a person who came from a hard pressed back ground and got to the top of his game. He has a single minded approach which has worked for him, let's face it you don't win what he's won, you don't play for england that manay times unless you've got something about you.
He has taken all his badges, yes he has been vocal about his opportunities to get in to the game which he believes is down to skin colour. He may have a point.
He is driven, he wants it, and he wants to succeed to prove his worth as a manager, that skin colour doesn't matter. The skills you acquire is what defines you and nothing else.
I would welcome him and I would back him.

Please take note all those not wanting Sol Campbell as our next manager : for you will be expected to give your reasons to prop Joe after he asks the question, "why?"
Why . ? Because he’s a very inexperienced manager and he’s not what we need right now
It wasn't meant to be serious Red.

Why would anyone want a manager with less than 1 season's experience, the gloomsters wanted an experienced man in charge.
Then there are shouts For Campbell.
If he'd done 4 or 5 seasons in the efl *)& won a promotuin i might say yeah , but Ross to Sol
Is a sideways move. Not progressive at all.

Why do people insist on analysing his win percentage when he was at Macclesfield? The club was an absolute basket case. 27% or whatever it was absolutely miraculous.
I could not give a flying flamingo what spurs fans think. Why should we give a toss.

Having seen him play at Arsenal a lot, he had big boots to fill when Adams, Bould and Keown moved on and more than filled them. Wasn’t the captain, but was key to the solidity of the defence. Arsenal haven’t had a decent defence since he left. Well except for when he returned for a few months.
However, don’t be shocked if he clears off at half time for personal reasons. Or after a few days. Wouldn’t see him anywhere for more than a couple of seasons before his next career move.

Now get him in the building and watch us improve.
No thanks. I’d be really disappointed if we ended up with Sol Campbell. We need somebody with far more experience like JE was.
I dont think Ling will make the same mistake as he did with Steve Davis. Experience counts for a lot.

So he takes on Ross with zero experience.

If there is any reason why the Board don't want Campbell, I hope has nothing to do with him leaving Tottenham to join Arsenal. I doubt very much they would anyway, it will be what is best for the O's.
