Within vegan forums there is a cliche of an omnivore moron coming on and saying "Bacon" and thinking that's really clever.
Congratulations Big Ron you're our moron in this discussion.
If Ron enjoyed his bacon sandwich this morning so be it
This is ain’t a vegan Forum is it

I stand corrected. Maybe we should have a separate thread where we can all say what we had for breakfast it would be fascinating.

Don't let the nasty man put you off your bacon sandwich Ron. Why not have a second one just to spite him.

It's very annoying when people sidetrack a sensible discussion. By the way, I had porridge made with milk for breakfast.
Does that make me a moron as well?

Interesting article in BBC News about veggies not get enough choline in their diet ( affects brain function ). Nuff said, I think.

West Side the article in question clearly states it’s Vegans and not Vegetarians who may suffer from choline imbalance it’s do with animal foods milk eggs cheese etc
Stop spreading fake news or I’ll report you to Colonel Saunders
I don't like to be xenophobic, but vegans & vegetarians are both barmy, so why bother differentiating. As I said before, if the Good Lord provided us with a set of 4 canine teeth for tearing into flesh, why should we be using them to chomp into rabbit food, instead of the rabbits? Our metabolism is very complicated and any medic would tell you that me need a good balanced diet, with essential amino acids & these are not all present in all rabbit food. No wonder these idiots put a strain on our NHS. And I have not even started about a lack of iron & it's role in anaemia. Lock 'em up I say.
I know I said I wouldn't respond to the troll, but can you cite the evidence that vegan or vegetarian diets cost the NHS money? One verified link will do for now.

Erm you don’t want to differentiate between veggies and vegans?
You do know there is a sizeable difference diet wise right
Ive been veggie for a lot of years through choice and faith last time I used the nhs for anything about 20 odd years ago
Love to see the facts/stats you have to back this up
Not often I agree with Papa Joe but this is ridiculous
Oh and just as a side note humans where designed to be omnivores but I’ll let you read up on that

What is the connection between being Xenophobic and people who are vegans & vegetarians?
Lucky7 I didn't say we should be solely using our canine teeth. I merely said we should be using them to tear the flesh of our little animal friends. If the truth be known, we have 32 teeth, so statistically they are a small proportion. But the other 28 are necessary to deal with this vegetable stuff which is much harder for the human body to process. I think that fact tells us quite a lot. As for data; there ain't none I am afraid. Most research is done with finance involved. But anyone who knows a bit about nutrition will know that it can be very complicated. If you think you do, read up about iron absorption and anaemia and you will see what I mean. I believe a good mixed diet was what is meant for us; as a species we got where we are today by being smart opportunitists. Read any research comparing vegetarians etc to sensible people and you will see they say more research needed.
