Just to clear up why Alabi played, some of you that were at the game may of noticed that when he came on he played wide right and Dennis moved into the middle. This is a position that Alabi has played for us and other clubs. Obviously asking Harrold to play out wide would have been a very strange move. I'm sure Harrold would have got on if we hadn't been forced into the first substitution.

As for Gorman replacing Clay, that's for the fact Gorman is more attacking minded and we needed to throw players forward.

Hope that clarifies.

For someone who calls themselves an Orient fan for a billion years or more all you do is belittle and criticise players coaches etc at every little opportunity you can get

Laughable clown 🤡

Boco Island is calling Alabi. He'd be a good islander, certainly better than a squad player. But this is the asset management side of football in play which most fans won't understand because it's not a part of the game they want to acknowledge or understand

Going back to the original post I think ComeOnYouOs beef is with Alabi coming on and the secondary issues he raises are not a problem if Alabi didn't come on - they are exagerated somewhat because he did come on.

TBF, our main problem today was our defence , not attack.

I would.

If we had taken the chances we made, we would have been out of sight. Missing chance after chance when in control puts pressure on the defence.

As in ones that let you see straight?

I’ll give you one thing, you’ve got stamina. How is there anyone left still defending a striker who’s scored about 2 goals and about 0 assists in over a season?

As it was outlined on another post somewhere Alabi was playing as a right winger sometimes swapping with Dennis and playing a old fashioned inside right position was he playing as a forward?
That would be a big fat NO then

Wasn't just the defence. The team has to provide cover and defend as a unit too.

If we bring in an experienced manager both Gorman and Alabi will be gone before next Summer .
I'm in favour of all three of your suggestions
