Worst we've played in yonks, Northampton all over us. Season almost definitely over now.

Confidence and that swagger gone. Gonna be hard to get something out of this match now and get back to winning ways down the road.

What on earth has happened today.
I said before today that the season was over but this is nowhere near acceptable.
So, so disappointing

Terrible error by Simpson
Miss controlled a simple back pass and forward was thru on goal and scores, that was school boy defending, absolutely shocking and very disappointing
2-0 down at HT
We have hit the woodwork twice,
Give Northampton credit they have high pressed us and we can’t play out from back
Roberts for than has been very good

our last 4 performances have not been bad so I had some hope left for playoffs, but looking at this we r far from good enough to make the top 6

RW needs to change it. We look lost. Maybe a change of formation. We need something.

Teams are high pressing us and not allowing us to play out from back and we are having to hit long & when we do we are not winning 2nd balls
As for defending corners, we are terrible

But let’s hope we score early and turn this round, still 45 mins left

Keep the faith guys πŸ’ͺ🏻
We can win this 3-2

Have we just been found out that high pressing us with second choice cbs means we can’t retain possession?

Admire your optimism Stan, but that's not going to happen. Simpson's horror show had screwed us.

To be fair, the pass to him was poor and it was a bobbly ball, why can't we pass the ball along the ground cleanly?

Really unhappy with them today.
They've just thrown it away in the last 3 games. I'm not looking forward to the rest of the season.

Lost by one goal again. Unbelievably we never built anything after scoring that goal. A shambles of the side that took us into the playoffs.

A different side. That’s the problem.

Injuries have screwed us over, shame, but not realistic to expect to manage with your first choice back 4 out.
That seems to have given lack of confidence to the whole team.
Where before we were quick, incisive, winning 2nd balls were now slow, ponderous, playing out from the back 4 is not working.
Season is over now, RW can plan for next season.
