Ref shat himself when the brummies surrounded him

Richie has decided to park the bus.
Bit early for that.

Absolute joke of a ref just bottled it for the Birmingham fans. State of officiating in this country is an absolute disgrace.

Markandy and Kelman off. Not sure about parking the bus this early. Kelman does lots of running and markandy has pace.

Maybe it’s just eyes on Saturday

Even the Birmingham commentators are disgusted by that decision. An absolute joke. And Currie will now be suspended for however long

Where do they find these officials!
Not even a foul let alone a card of any colour, the Birmingham player made contact with Currie after he cleared the ball!
Absolutely appalling!

That red card has to be appealed surely

Only hope to try and hit them on the break. What a shame was shaping up to be a really good game and the ref has screwed it up.

The club should appeal that red card.

We have to appeal that red card otherwise I think Currie is suspended for three games. I can imagine what Richie will have to say about that . If we now lose this game it will be down to the fcuking Ref. What a joke .

I agree on principle but PGMOL and the FA just back the referees no matter how wrong they are, as I saw some guy say on a video the other day "it's us v them these days"

One of those ones where they will never overturn it because there was contact

Ref has completely ruined the match.

Even though the appeals process seems to be an old boys club, surely no fair minded opinion can see that as a straight red.
25 mins in and Birmingham look turd. 11 vs 11 we had every chance.

Unfortunately that might be the case . The Ref himself later might review it and down grade it to a yellow . However he's already done the damage

It was early days but we looked good. What a travesty.

Totally spoiled what looked to be a good game. I didn't expect anything from this, but I expect even less now. Maybe there's some comfort this didn't happen in a game we expected to win.

The only positive thing I can see is that we've had good practice of having minimal possession against Man City, going to be a really tough ask though

Just need a strong penalty appeal for us to be turned down to complete the dodgy ref bingo grid

Miss of the season from their player. Keeley needs to cut out spilling saves like that

Just showed the red again on the stream. Might be best for PT to do the post match interview…

The only contact is the Birmingham player running into Currie then falling over.

Well Richie sits in the stand anyway, it'd be worth the ban saying what we all think of the standard of officiating we've seen tonight

It would be wise to let Paul Terry to do the post match interview tonight. I don’t think an RW “ special” will go down to well with the disciplinary committee if we choose to appeal the red card!
