It must be - the away end holds more than three times that

We only took 550 to Wrexham.

750 should be enough for Brum.

Thanks for clarifying paper tickets. Ridiculous in this day and age. Even we’ve managed to move on from that.

Although it's a ground we've not visited for a lot longer, the fixture has been scheduled for longer, and the distance is much less... so I'd have thought we would do more than that in the circumstances.

Be nice but the initial allocation hasn't gone yet.

Yeah, I'm surprised and mildly disappointed.

Getting back from Brum is a b*stard after 10. Most fans won't be getting home till half 1 at the latest and the train tickets are not cheap. But couldn't pass this one up and standing tickets are a nice bonus.

Wrexham numbers were incredible all things considered.

Half term helped - there were a fair few little ones up beyond their bedtime.

Agreed. Up here in the Scotch Championship every game is e-ticket, either exclusively or at least an option. Really can't believe it's beyond clubs down there - especially one the size of Birmingham.

Dunno but I'm gonna plead ignorant to the stewards and try and get in the seated area 🤔

Only seen it at Derby last season and yes it did. But that’s not much use if everyone around you is standing up.

Stansfield injury not as bad as first thought. He will miss tomorrow but too soon to say if he is back on Tuesday

So safe standing is a sham?

Brentford was the same

You have an allotted amount of space which I guess is what makes it safe, so not a sham. Just a waste of time having the optional seat if you want to see anything.

Went there 20 years ago roughly with United. They charged £44 a ticket (disgustingly outrageous at the time). It finished 0-0 and was subjected to ‘Mr Woo’ at half time doing a load of kick ups.

Hope Os get a better deal.

There is a system that I've seen where the seat is higher up - at such a height that your head would be the same height as someone next to you who's chosen not to fold the seat down - say the same height as a bar stool. The design incorporates a folding footrest that comes out with the seat. This way, everyone has their designated space, but you can choose to sit or stand (and if you're a sitter, and your mate is a stander, you can still watch the match side by side.

I saw a presentation up here a few years ago, but can't find a link to it just now. It was quite expensive (so Raith Rovers nixed it!) but I thought it would be a great idea.

Hopefully it's on Sky Sports Plus. I've really enjoyed the matches shown on Tuesday evenings so far.

Birmingham away allocation now sold out (although guess they could have just been taken off sale?)

Charlton at home on Saturday also showing as a sell out.

Giddy times to be on O's fan.

Tuesday Night so it'll be available to be streamed.
