He's OK but I haven't been that impressed with him so far .

His name sounds like an American baseball legend.

I assume you're referring to Wandell Rilliams. Kicked 8 slam dunk touch downs back in the days when the pucks were made of wood

Sounds a bit racist.

Just a simple error when Williams put on a training top marked R W
It escalated from there on

I don't know, I never met the man but never heard a bad word said about him

His comment was a bit odd when he joined saying he signed a short-term deal because he wanted to play in the Championship, when he couldn't get in the Bolton team....And has been solid ish for us but nothing oustanding

As others have said, hasn't done anything to suggest he's anywhere near a Championship standard player.

Three games not even made the squad, no mention of him too, the rumours might be true then

Or he has Kelman, Ageyi, Abduali, O'Neill, DJ and Perkins all ahead of him. He was an Ollie stop gap really.

He's better than DJ and Perkins, something has obviously happened. Not a massive loss but odd all the same.

Has to have been Boco'd.

Seems odd to sign a short term contract to rekindle your career and immediately have a falling out with the manager. Doesn’t exactly give you the sort of reputation you want when looking for clubs as a free agent in the summer.

It’s been well established that if you get on the wrong side of Wellens you tend not to last very long.

To be fair though, that tends to be the case with most managers.

So maybe he isn't on Boco island after playing yesterday

He also played very well but I don't know how he didn't get on to the end of a chance in a goalmouth scramble during the second half

I think he certainly offers more than DJ in an attacking sense, not difficult I know,
He probably should have had a penalty when he was kicked late on in the 2nd half trying to cross the ball

TBH, I thought that was a clear penalty but it's not the first time we've had a clear penalty turned down at Brisbane Rd this season

Can understand him getting uppity at lack of game time since he came here - no doubt he was expecting to play regularly - but his performances haven’t justified it. A shame if true as he started off really well but has definitely dipped since.
Something is wrong when a half fit O'Neill (who Richie is now saying was rushed back), DJ and Perkins are getting minutes ahead of Williams.

Would be inclined to believe the bust-up rumour, not the first one this season either with Cooper a few months back too. It is strange how all the attacking loanees started on fire and have tailed off rapidly.

If he can patch things up with Wellens, I'd have him next year as the Theo replacement. One less position to recruit for and has shown some promise - was probably our standout attacking player yesterday. Him with Perkins as back up and O'Neill with some proper competition signed would be decent.

Interesting to note that Williams was assaulted twice in 5 minutes without so much as a free kick whereas both Birmingham and Wrexham had opponents sent off early on and were then given soft penalties to make life even easier.
It’s almost like promotion has been scripted and PGMOL are doing what they can to stay on message.

Yeah , I do wonder sometimes . We' had Currie harshly sent off at Birmingham and we've also had three clear cut penalty appeals turned down in the last few weeks . Stockport , Charlton and again yesterday against Wigan
