I didn't Sidney. But to be fair I didn't think they were all they were cracked up to be. Serious development needed for JK and I believe MB is above the level he can effectively operate at.Sid Bishop wrote: ↑Thu Aug 22, 2019 11:02 amBoth players are most likely getting a lot more in wages than they did at the Os and could well be loaned out to other clubs and get their football games in that way. Why feel sorry for them, just dont get it, does anyone really think that they were going to instantly going to jump the gap between national League to Championship and all that in just a few weeks ?

Re: Josh Koroma
Hi Max, time will tell as to how good both players will turn out to be but as someone else said, a footballers career is a short one and injury can finish it at any time. So like nearly everybody else who is a Pro footballer, incentive of a much bigger wage at a much bigger soccer club is a big draw and if they do not get to play in either of their respective teams this season, then no doubt they will go on loan somewhere else. So for the meantime, its a case of ..........''Money makes the World go around'' !Max B Gold wrote: ↑Thu Aug 22, 2019 11:07 amI didn't Sidney. Re: Josh Koroma
You did not say that e.g ''I felt sorry for them?'' but some placing comments on here seem to think that and also that both players made a mistake in moving on. My comment was more one for the general discussion about Korama and Bonne and not meant to be aimed purely at your comment !! Sorry for any misunderstanding caused, my apology !!DuvB wrote: ↑Thu Aug 22, 2019 1:03 pmWhere did I say I felt sorry for them?Sid Bishop wrote: ↑Thu Aug 22, 2019 11:02 amBoth players are most likely getting a lot more in wages than they did at the Os and could well be loaned out to other clubs and get their football games in that way. Re: Josh Koroma
Footballers wages in the higher divisions has gone a bit crazy in recent years, then they wonder why so many clubs from Championship down, get into such big financial difficulties !!DuvB wrote: ↑Fri Aug 23, 2019 9:27 amSurely not.Andersonitis wrote: ↑Thu Aug 22, 2019 8:12 pm Heard Koroma was on 12k a week Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeezzussssssss !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Only said I heard.
If I said it was 40 grand, someone will say,
I heard it was 40k
In truth I could honestly believe it to be half that say 6k,
I only thought it was bechetti & salford who pays top money.

Great to see. Josh has plenty of talent and potential. He still has plenty to learn but if nurtured will do very well.

Are we going to get another thread about this after every Huddersfield game and have to say the same things over and over again?

Re: Josh Koroma
Who cares about Koroma, Ollie Palmer and every other ex-player. They have ceased to be, expired (from our squad) and gone to meet their markers.
I truly do not understand this love-in for ex-players. Playing for us is a job like everything else.

I agree to a certain degree but if they come through our youth set up/ we have taken kids on loan, I think we like to see them do well.Disoriented wrote: ↑Sat Aug 31, 2019 6:12 pmWho cares about Koroma, Ollie Palmer and every other ex-player. Me too, but that is different to going on about them every five minutes like that other fella with Ollie Palmer.Loyal_Supporter wrote: ↑Sat Aug 31, 2019 6:19 pmI agree to a certain degree but if they come through our youth set up/ we have taken kids on loan, I think we like to see them do well.Disoriented wrote: ↑Sat Aug 31, 2019 6:12 pmWho cares about Koroma, Ollie Palmer and every other ex-player. Exactly right, Dis, they wanted to leave so let their new supporters worry about what they do and when they do it!Disoriented wrote: ↑Sat Aug 31, 2019 6:12 pm

Re: Josh Koroma
I'd want to leave for £6k a week (min, as it could be £12k) for the next 3 or 4 years. That sort of money simply is not attainable. if he's smart enough that's a decent house bought and paid for down south.
