Very disappointing.

Possibly a flatter atmosphere, very early starts for a lot of people and the pubs will lose out on a payday which they’ll badly need after dry January.

the pubs won't lose out on a payday if we win, mind you

Midday kick off was the one I wanted least. Kills any chance of an atmosphere and feels like a fundamentally wrong way to watch football.

Happy it’s a weekend and on the tv in case I don’t get a ticket. Good exposure and some cash for us too.

Assume average ticket price is about 25 quid we should earn about £300k including concessions. Decent.

Could have been worse. There does seem to be an incredible amount of fannying around with the ko times and we’re not even in the Premiership, yet.
Football should be played at 3pm Saturday , plus the night matches.
But we are in thrall to the tv companies and this is the result. Tradition goes out the window.

Disagree. Saturday at 8 would cause some difficulty to get home. Mon Thursday evenings not ideal. This is my preference tbh 12.15 on a Saturday if not 3.00

12:15 provides no pre match excitement. Complete damp squib.

Spoons in Stratford & Leytonstone will be serving pints from 9.00, plenty of time to build-up "excitement "

Tell me that again at 12:00 on the 8th of Feb when there’s no atmosphere
