Pep Guardiola used 3-5-2 at Barcelona when they were winning everything.

Hardly Negative.
Unless you were Paul Lambert using it at say.Aston Villa.

It’s negative when you have wingbacks like ling and Widdowson.

Judd isn't a Left Back, remember how awful he was against Maidenhead in 17/18.
He's a competent right back. Either go with Brophy or switch Ling to the left & bring Judd or Marsh in.

Are you for real?
In case you forget we where NL Champions
That takes character within itself
Plus there where quite a few games the team where resilient and grounded out a result
Vs Eastleigh behind twice won 3-2
Vs Sutton down to 10 men kept going won 2-1
That team didn’t have character?

Hopefully just winded or slight concussion and he’ll be ok.

If you went with a more traditional midfield 3, Brophy as an attacking left back could actually work.
Agreed, it would be great to see an attacking Orient team for a change with Angol, Wilkinson and Dennis all starting up front and Brophy attacking from deep. Could even have a midfield three of Clay, Wright and Marsh.

Also think the defender that should be dropped is Coulson, but may be alone in that view.
Only my opinion but if any central defender should have to be left out it should be Ekpiteta. He looks very nervy to me and hasn’t really got going yet this season. Dropping Coulson I think would a major mistake.

Positionally Marv is heads and shoulders above Happe positionally, and if you have Coulson, I don’t think Happe is quick enough.

He’ll still get his chance but it’s got Marv and Coulson.

I say we should try starting with 4-3-3 on Saturday and see how things go. That formation worked for us last night so it could be our answer going forward .

Yes.
He should read this board more often.
Why? So he can continue to not follow your advice?

As much as I like Ekpiteta he's still been at fault for more goals than Happe this season no? I just think we'd miss Happe's ability to play it out from the back. Coulson is the worst of the three with the ball at his feet and painfully slow at times - was very fortunate we didn't concede against Stevenage because of his mistake.

Do think Coulson's experience/leadership would be missed though so it is a tough call, Happe will likely be the one left out though.

Personally i'd disagree. Obviously last night he's given away the pen.

Against Macc, I found some level of fault in Happe for all three goals.

Still early days though and a very small sample. We are lucky to have 3 really good CBs.

Would Shadrach Ogie have any chance of the left back spot?...not a great lover of right footed players playing left back. Upsets the balance and flow of a team. I know there have been exceptions. Just asking.

Worth a look i reckon. But think it will be brophy. If we do go 4-3-3 though, you sort of need a solid defender at full back imo.

Just a dig at CCH, who on another thread said last years team had little character. I think they had loads.

Or move Ling to left back and bring Judd in.
What would be wromg with putting Happe at left back?

As replied in another post, why not Happe at left back?
