Of course another election won’t happen. Everyone knows that. But that’s not the point, how else do people show their displeasure at what is going on? And send messages to those in charge? This is a good a route as any. 2 million +/- a questionable small percentage, voicing an opinion. It’s why the petition system exists. Also it’d be quite useful to know how many signatures you think are necessary for it to be considered “the will of the people” to hold another election.

I don't like Starmer, but still voted Labour to try and get rid of the scummy Tories. Labour have made way too many mistakes so far but the weight of criticism from the Media outlets and Social media channels is frankly ridiculous and completely disproportionate to his and Labours performance.
