The evidence of the last decade or so at Orient (and other Clubs) suggests that the overwhelming majority of fans would go along with anything so long as money was getting spaffed on their Club.
Correct . As a general rule the clubs with all the money are at the top and the clubs that haven't are at the bottom . I'd rather Orient were at the top
Guess this marks out the difference between people who follow football and consider its just about winning at all costs and hang the ethics or consequences and those who still believe it's about something else. For those that fall into the latter camp, don't really understand why they don't just support another team.
Because any other club isn’t Orient and Orient is the club I love. That’s why given the choice I’d rather Orient was doing well at the top .

This.

Look how - most of - our fanbase lapped up Bechetti and his entourage when that hit our club 10 years ago. They were happy to ignore all the nonsense that came with it for an enhanced playing budget.
But he high fived fans in the car park Dagenham and gave Dosenna £9k a week!! How can you say he was bad?
The previous hierarchy proved there is no point in having all the money if you haven’t got a brain behind it. If our current board had the same resources we’d already be in the Championship . I have no doubt about that

I'm in the "win at all costs" camp as that's what professional sport is all about. I really couldn't care less for the "community" ethos thing that often gets bandied around as a USP at Orient.

As for why not another team... you don't choose your team it's often passed through family etc. and that doesn't change.

As for the mad Italian, all he had to do was provide the funds and leave the football side well alone and he could've had all the adulation T&T have experienced but his ego was too big, hence ending in a circus. Big money isn't intrinsically bad, it's how the owners spend it and manage the club.

The chance to control our own destiny free of the shackles and money drain that Hearn has placed on the club. Just remember at at, say £300 a pop the first 1000 ST sales go straight into his pocket every season
If Leyton Orient moved out of Leyton (which presumably would be the only option for a new ground) then that would probably be it for me. Travelling out of my way to watch rearranged Tuesday night fixtures in a half empty soulless Ikea kit stadium in Essex somewhere doesn’t appeal to me.

Both the club and Borough want’s us to stay in the Waltham Forest area . For example if club moved to Walthamstow it’s only down the road so hardly any difference for travelling. Anyway, long term we have to move to be able to increase our capacity and revenue .

Orient is the club I love, which is why I would be happy for them to completely change beyond recognition 🤔

Moving the club to Essex/London hinterlands would devalue the club massively. What makes us attractive to a prospective investor is we are probably in the top 3 best connected clubs in London, there's no point in giving that up.

I'd be very surprised if the ownership wasn't angling for us to get in on the huge redevelopment site that's coming up around the new Spittalfields market area - it's our last, best shot at staying in Leyton and keeping that advantage of being a 15 minute journey from central London.

Indeed, though why the council would want to give valuable land to a football club over housing is up for debate.

Leyton is well connected. 21 mins to Oxford Circus, maybe 12 mins to Liverpool ST. Plus the excellent links at Stratford
