Forde has not featured yet for Watford so would be good to get him back on a years loan.

Didn’t he say he wanted one or two more a few weeks ago and now he’s saying he’d like three? Not a reduction unless I’m missing something.Monkey Boy wrote: ↑Thu Aug 29, 2024 7:37 pmWhat an absolute sh-t show by the club. Even if they sign someone tomorrow it will be an absolute betrayal by the club. Each time Wellens is interviewed he reduces the amount of players he wants. So much for the exciting signings we were promised just before they put the prices up or was that to con the supporters to buy tickets I wonder. Still we have Solar panels to power the sh-t beer there trying to make the supporters club sell.

He would be a very good signing if he does rejoin us today . I'd be happy with that .Hoover Attack wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2024 9:14 am So yes, Shaq could be one of the players coming in today IMO. Exciting times!
Can’t see it happening sadly.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2024 11:24 amHe would be a very good signing if he does rejoin us today . I'd be happy with that .Hoover Attack wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2024 9:14 am So yes, Shaq could be one of the players coming in today IMO. Exciting times!
Well said. Believe in this squad - sadly jury well out on keeper still (good luck to him) - but hopefully Richie gets what he wants. Forde +1?Mistadobalina wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2024 11:07 am He said he wanted 3 a few weeks ago before we brought this Spurs kid in. Given that Moncur has been shipped out, it'd be disappointing if at least one player wasn't brought in today, even if it just a loan. Our squad has more depth and quality than I think a lot of people are giving credit for, but we're clearly a striker and a full back short of a fully competitive squad.
Always a chance we sign a free agent after today as well, even if that's not an option we've often taken up under current regime.
Would love Shaq back in E.10Sid Bishop wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2024 8:58 am Forde has not featured yet for Watford so would be good to get him back on a years loan.

Not haven't featured in Championship or even Carabao squads so far, I see little point in him staying at Watford for the season. Will almost certainly being going somewhere today, not necessarily us. I guess clubs are playing the normal Russian roulette regards negotiations with the window closing.Sid Bishop wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2024 8:58 am Forde has not featured yet for Watford so would be good to get him back on a years loan.
Meanwhile Ling and Travis were getting excited on an Alzate sell on fee and got a grand total of... £0Bergen wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2024 4:51 pm From Henry Winter: "A reminder of how well Peterborough United often do transfer business. Posh gave Newcastle £350,000 for Ivan Toney. So far Posh have received, according to chairman Darragh MacAnthony, £10m from Brentford (£6m fee plus add-ons, inc goals, appearances, promotion, staying in PL and England). Posh now get a percentage of Brentford's profit from Toney’s £40m move to Al-Ahli. Judging by what MacAnthony and Barry Fry have said in the past that could be estimated as anywhere between £3m and £5m"
The ridiculous thing is we needed that same LB and CM at the start of summer yet it comes down to the last day to maybe see one of those arriveMistadobalina wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2024 11:07 am He said he wanted 3 a few weeks ago before we brought this Spurs kid in. Disagree tbh, only Pratley has any kind of experience to control it and he can only do so many minutes. Can't be having a midfield with an average age of about 20, no coincidence we played better the other night with him in there leading it.Mistadobalina wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2024 5:15 pm We're fine at centre mid, plenty of options and depth.
You're complaining in this same thread about Peterborough identifying young talent they can sell on...gshaw wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2024 5:34 pmDisagree tbh, only Pratley has any kind of experience to control it and he can only do so many minutes. The average age of our midfield is higher than it was last season.gshaw wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2024 5:34 pmDisagree tbh, only Pratley has any kind of experience to control it and he can only do so many minutes.
