Thought the yellow for Clare was correct - was a 50:50 that he just got pipped to.
Same with Sweeney - it was the second leg following through with the scissor kick motion.
The drop ball for the Clare incident was because their bloke went down and he thought there was a head injury.
If anyone really thinks RW was clapping Sweeney for his positioning, I’ve got these digital money coins you can buy for just £50,000 each.
I think I can sell you one of those digital money coins for £5,000 if you think its a yellow
Both were 10 yards from a loose ball. Red if charltons player had played it forward, only my opinion though

People really Dont understand what constitutes a red card these days, do they?

To be fair, sliding into someone’s planted ankle isn’t just a red card these days.

It’s more a case of looking at the foul through O’s tinted glasses.

Most of us grew up watching 50 of those every season, maybe one woul get a booking & none would of been sent off, totally different now.

As an Orient fan I would have been furious if Clare had pulled out of that challenge. Ball was there to be won.

As an orient fan, if one of their players did that to ageyi and didn’t get a red card I’d be furious

Many, many years ago I was at Turf Moor and watched Sitton clean someone out. Filthy tackle and I believe he broke the guy’s leg. As an Orient fan I was embarrassed.
That challenge yesterday was hard, but fair and honest. I get that he hurt him but he didn’t mean to. It’s one of those things in sport. I wouldn’t build it up to be something more than it was.

The ball was there to be won. But he didn't win it. He won their players ankle bone.

I agree entirely. Not suggesting he won it. He had every right to challenge for it. It looks bad in slow motion. I still don’t think it was a dirty tackle.

Doesn't have to be 'dirty' to be a red.

Are you suggesting that Clare's tackle yesterday wouldn't have been a yellow in the 1980s and 1990s? Blimey.

If the lad had some shinpads on he would’ve been fine.
He might wear some next time
Has the law changed with regard the wearing of shin pads ??
I thought it was compulsory but I’ve seen a few players recently either not wearing them or wearing something really small.

Still compulsory but 'micro pads' are now a thing.
