Howes last 2 games
Blackpool & Shrewsbury. A 0-0 away draw & an away win.
Has to start away to Charlton doesn't he?

I would guess that Hemmings is inching his way towards his Leyton Orient last chance saloon.
Wonder if there is any penalty clause money wise on returning a player early from a one season loan deal ?

Howes is 100% not a L1 standard goalkeeper.

It would appear Hemmings isn’t either!

Nor is Henning by what we've seen.
Whilst I agree Howes isn't either, I like to think that even he would have saved at least two that Henning has let in.

Howes has to start v Charlton
Hemings is an accident waiting to happen, he must be so low and have 0% confidence, and so must the defenders in front of him.
Defenders need to know they can trust the GK to come for crosses, make saves.
2 games, 3 goals conceded all GK errors
Tonight’s flap or attempt to save was embarrassing
Just not good enough

If the decision is that Hemming isn’t good enough and howes should be selected over him, we have to send him back to Boro and get a new keeper in before Saturday.

''Yes, the loan can be terminated in the middle of the tenure. This decision lies solely in the hands of the parent club who can decide to terminate the loan and call back the player. But to do this, they need to pay an earlier discussed fee for the player to be released. In some cases, the loanee club can do this too if the player is really pathetic and is a liability to the team, though it is quite rare''

Great result 4-1 home win and in the hat for the 2nd round, and the dream of drawing West Ham is alive for another season.
Enough being said about Hemings, which is justified, so let’s focus on positives tonight.
Dan Agyei scoring and off the mark for the season.
Kelman 2 in 2
DJ off the mark
Cooper scoring and hopefully will start and partner Dan Happe v Charlton
Both FB assisting.
COYO’s

I don’t necessarily disagree with you BUT can you really see the “ transfer committee “ accepting they got a decision so badly wrong after only two games?

And where do you think you are getting another keeper before then. Get real!

I haven’t seen the mistake or whatever from Hemmings tonight, but if it’s as bad as others are saying then RW has little option but to give Howes a chance at the Valley on Saturday.
Howes may not be a L1 keeper but what’s the point in keeping him if he’s never gonna play.

He really didn’t play brilliantly.
TJ was superb at CB that day, tho.

The same place we’re getting the other 2 or 3 players were already on the hunt for before the window shuts.

He was brought in to add some maturity to an otherwise very young training group of keepers, not to play games.

It’s completely and utterly mental that because this Hemmings bloke is crap suddenly people are calling for Howlers to be nailed on first team GK. As you have correctly pointed out, he is nowhere near L1 standard.
Hemmings is in last chance saloon already. The transfer committee will look far better admitting they got it wrong and finding a replacement sharpish rather than doing nothing to save face, leaving us with a pair of liabilities to choose from between the sticks.

He really did & He really is a goalkeeper for a L1 side, whether we like it or not

Did ok, needs more minutes, can't see him starting ATM, unless Wellens decides to play a different formation and have him and Brown as 2 holding players
