I thought it was solid enough
We had a bit of luck with the post , good defensive play from The Forrhead & thats about all Harrogate had to show .
Comfortable win , would of liked a few more goals but when JK isnt firing they go high.
JK was very selfish today I thought
He’s the same every game and we have benefitted from some wonder goals with him doing it. I’ll take 10 skied if he puts one in. About the only player who’s willing to take a shot from outside the box
Also when fit and on top of their game.....please include McAnuff and J.M.D on that list !!

A win is a win, is a win and JE has spoken many times recently that results have been and will be ground out. First clean sheet in the last 5 games, which is a big positive.
Agree, a win is a win. If we win a scrappy and ugly game on monday, who cares !

Yep, when all said and done, it was a win, and two more goals in the kitty.
As many have said here, it's not about performances now, just results. I would have taken 2-0 before the match.
As for Solihull; I think that JE will set the team up differently and the team may not have a win-at-all costs mandate. I suspect that the plan will be to come back from Brum unbeaten rather than risk too much going for a win.

Harrogate had scored the most goals in the league going into this one, so they were always going to create chances. We were poor at the back at times but we rode our luck and have got to take the positives from a clean sheet. Hoping Happe and Widdowson have better games on Monday

Performances doesn't matter at this stage only wins . 3 points today and job done, now onto Monday. The other good thing about today is everybody came through without injury so we should be at full strength for Solihull.
1000% This. I would take a ropey win on Monday please.

The OP is defo on a wind up.
I thought Harrogate were one of the best sides I've seen this season home or away. Solihull are not capable.of playing football or to that level. We will win and it will be job done.

Not our greatest performance but we played a decent team who play open football, score goals and are in the play off places. Sometimes you have to grind a result out and that is what we did today. Two great goals from us and three points in the bag and we move on to Monday's match.

We knocked it around well in the first half.

You have to accept that at the business end of the season, its about points and that you won't play well every game.

We certainly didn’t play bad.

They were nervous today and it showed.
Just have to hope that Solihull and Salford are equally as nervous in their last 2 games.

Monday will be a bruiser. Ideal game for Harrold and Turley to come into. I'd also play Simpson behind Harrold and Bonne because his experience will give us added composure up top.

Agree about Turley and Harrold - will be a really physical encounter with lots of gamesmanship on display.

I make him right, to many under pat performances today.
I sort of make him right also, although I don't necessarily think we're going to get "stuffed" on Monday. Let's face it we've scrambled points with most of our performances this season. Yes I know, a wins a win, and I'll take it too. But we seem to be lacking that all round team performance of late, by putting the opposition to the sword. I'm still hopeful, and yet I'm still on a knife edge about our automatic chances.
.. Anyone can spout positivety.

We've played better in the past and lost. Give me a scrappy win any day and especially at this stage of the season . I'll take another one Monday with both hands .

Suggest you remove your blindfold if you think that was a worthy performance!
You're making a blind assumption that Solihull will play better than that which you can't know. It's not about performances now. It's about being resilient and staying in games and grinding out results. Fortunately today the Orient team were far more resilient than you are.
We will drag Solihull down to our level and grind out a result.

The spirit is excellent, and can’t fault JE or the team in delivering good results in difficult away games against the rest of the top seven. The players will believe, and we need one last solid away performance, and we can nail it on Saturday.
Not impossible that Salford will drop a point in their last two matches for neither look easy, but my confidence in them slipping up is diminishing, and we can't rely on it. Would rather be in our position though.

I really can't see Salford dropping any points against Fylde or Hartlepool but we can hope. We've got to try and finish the job ourselves and win our last two matches.

And we will get stuffed.
That was a really disjointed performance, Harrogate deserved something from that game!
