Yep said this a while ago but no chance unfortunatelyTop of the JES wrote: ↑Wed Jul 17, 2024 10:01 am We have Dan Agyei, Charlie Kelman And Sonny Perkins up front but if we can get him I would like to see Dom Ballard on loan from Southampton, he's different from the other three, and he's very quick. He ripped us a new one at home last season.
Sonny Perkins can't play up top on his own for us at this level next season.Top of the JES wrote: ↑Wed Jul 17, 2024 10:01 am We have Dan Agyei, Charlie Kelman And Sonny Perkins up front but if we can get him I would like to see Dom Ballard on loan from Southampton, he's different from the other three, and he's very quick. Always a chance. he would flourish under Wellens. I’d like to see him given a run at the start of the season (but can’t see it) with an understanding that he’s going to make mistakes and have a few ropey games but knowing he isn’t going to get benched instantly like has happened in the past. His problems all stem from decision making in defence I.e. rushing in and not getting the ball. Attacking wise he gives us more than any other defender.Hoover Attack wrote: ↑Wed Jul 17, 2024 8:56 amTJ has proved himself more than capable of playing L1 football. I’ve only seen 45 minutes on the stream but Perkins ain’t anywhere near ready to lead the line.
I have way more faith in James and Sweeney than I do in Kelman.
I wouldn't have any concerns if both started in our first game.
What you talking about, there’s no chance because he’s Championship bound ?? WeirdTop of the JES wrote: ↑Wed Jul 17, 2024 10:39 amAlways a chance. he would flourish under Wellens. Kelman can't do the job adequately, either.
Anyone would.

So that description hardly fits Joe Piggot !!
I'm not sure what Wellens thinks. Maybe the two up front as someone has claimed was used last night is the way forward? Maybe he'll play in one of the wide positions?Rubex Kube wrote: ↑Wed Jul 17, 2024 11:04 amWellens thinks Kelman canHoover Attack wrote: ↑Wed Jul 17, 2024 10:32 amSonny Perkins can't play up top on his own for us at this level next season.Top of the JES wrote: ↑Wed Jul 17, 2024 10:01 am We have Dan Agyei, Charlie Kelman And Sonny Perkins up front but if we can get him I would like to see Dom Ballard on loan from Southampton, he's different from the other three, and he's very quick. You don't have to lump it long against a high pressHoover Attack wrote: ↑Wed Jul 17, 2024 11:36 amI'm not sure what Wellens thinks. With just CK up front, teams will now they can high press us at goal kicks to stop us playing out, forcing us to kick it long and literally hand over possession to them.
Ok Pep, what else is Howlers going to do with this goal kick when our back 4 are all marked?Adz wrote: ↑Wed Jul 17, 2024 11:52 amYou don't have to lump it long against a high pressHoover Attack wrote: ↑Wed Jul 17, 2024 11:36 amI'm not sure what Wellens thinks. He is at Southampton in the under 21s played for them at the weekend so how is he championship bound? as you know he was at Reading last season and they are likely to send him out to a L1 club again this season after his injury, You really have a chip on your shoulder Monkey Boy you need to chill out a bit.Monkey Boy wrote: ↑Wed Jul 17, 2024 11:00 amWhat you talking about, there’s no chance because he’s Championship bound ?? Lol, A Wellens team playing kick it long & give up possesionHoover Attack wrote: ↑Wed Jul 17, 2024 11:36 amI'm not sure what Wellens thinks. If Agyei gets injured again we’re fcuked . We can’t start the season with only Agyei, Kelman and Perkins as our strike force because that’s not strong enough. We definitely need another striker.
Agyei, Pigott, Drinan, Sotiriou, Graham, O'Neill, Forde, (Archibald Injured.)RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 17, 2024 12:58 pmIf Agyei gets injured again we’re fcuked . This is exactly my point. You need a physical threat up top so teams can't go 1 for 1 and stop us playing out.Rubex Kube wrote: ↑Wed Jul 17, 2024 12:40 pmLol, A Wellens team playing kick it long & give up possesionHoover Attack wrote: ↑Wed Jul 17, 2024 11:36 amI'm not sure what Wellens thinks. "Attacking wise he gives us more than any other defender." Never scored a goal, and minimal assists. Flatters by tearing down the line, but then checks back and lays it off to someone else.Rich Tea Wellin wrote: ↑Wed Jul 17, 2024 10:45 amI’d like to see him given a run at the start of the season (but can’t see it) with an understanding that he’s going to make mistakes and have a few ropey games but knowing he isn’t going to get benched instantly like has happened in the past.
