The chances of us being able to sign players with the quality of El-Miz's is beginning to look quite remote . Going by the standard of our signings so far I think we're really going to struggle next season .Norlington Road wrote: ↑Sat Jul 06, 2024 3:20 pm If this happens it’ll be upsetting .
Our recruiting so far is late and very average I’m afraid https://the72.co.uk/2024/07/05/ipswich- ... nsfer/amp/
Not proven at Championship level YET. , and will probably be playing league one when Oxford get relegated unless he has an out clause in his contractThe Reverend wrote: ↑Sat Jul 06, 2024 11:02 pm Ideal signing for both parties really. El Miz gets to play at a higher level and is likely to be in the starting line up every week.
Oxford get a Championship quality player and probably for a decent price as Ipswich are looking to offload.
Again , as the other thread titles states , we can't compete .The Reverend wrote: ↑Sat Jul 06, 2024 11:02 pm Ideal signing for both parties really. El Miz gets to play at a higher level and is likely to be in the starting line up every week.

Bit OTT Wellens must be happy with transfer policy or would never have signed a new contract
Or maybe Wellens was promised more than what has been forthcoming, which seems to be the case so far.DaveDunmore wrote: ↑Sun Jul 07, 2024 2:29 pmBit OTT Wellens must be happy with transfer policy or would never have signed a new contract
He signed his contract about 3 weeks ago after 2 years of working for the club fully aware of how we operate, obviously he is signing players that he has worked with before/ or youngster s he feels will improve under his leadership . If in your opinion they are abysmal then you are not on the same wavelength as someone who has earned his living in the professional game, it s different from playing computer gamesPoundhillO wrote: ↑Sun Jul 07, 2024 3:43 pmOr maybe Wellens was promised more than what has been forthcoming, which seems to be the case so far.DaveDunmore wrote: ↑Sun Jul 07, 2024 2:29 pmBit OTT Wellens must be happy with transfer policy or would never have signed a new contract

How long have you worked in the EFL? You seem to have more knowledge than Richie
Well we’re never going to pay 400k for him are we . It’s very disappointing not to get him back.Rubex Kube wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2024 12:59 pmabout timeRedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2024 12:50 pm Personally I’ve now given up hope of us getting him back.
I have total faith in Richie it’s the influence from Ling and the transfer committee that I blame.Lifelongfan wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2024 1:00 pmHow long have you worked in the EFL? You seem to have more knowledge than Richie
