I think that title challengers in League 1 would look beyond Ruel. League 1 strugglers would love him. To stay mid table Ruel is a safe bet, alternatively we can role the dice, and get an Agyei or a Pigott.

No sense in paying off his contract . Might as well keep him at the club and let him stew. He must have been told by RW that he is not in his plans so he must be looking for another club.

Ruel being a great League One striker, El-Miz staying, Vigs coming back, huge sell-ons from Alzate and Kyprianou... there's been a real outbreak of happy-clapping this summer. This does not bode well.

He's not going to start games.

He's a fantastic, cheap, goal-scoring option off the bench.

There are differing opinions on Ruel, but he will have suitors. He's now a proven player and its an insult to assume he should be cheap.

He will be much, much cheaper than Agyei or an Agyei standard replacement. That's not an insult, that's just the pecking order.

Don't really get all this "cheap option" stuff. He's proven he is capable at lge 1 level and is in the process of negotiating a new contract while no doubt reviewing offers from other clubs. Not sure why he should be expecting a wage significantly lower than the likes of Ageyi given his situation.

Personally i would love for him to stay as i think he offers alot.

Must admit that did make me smile.

But I'm in the opposite camp, I like him , he offers more than you see on the match streaming (guessing you're still an exiled supporter)
Although I do generally agree with your match day ratings for the majority of the team.
Conkles/Hoover will likely disagree about the ratings comment.

BTTT OP
I'm pleased Dan Happe has signed

Many people on this forum have very short memories e.g ''After scoring six goals in eight matches, Ruel Sotiriou was awarded the EFL League Two Player of the Month award for March 2022, his goals helping steer Orient away from the relegation zone''
