It probably depends a lot on how his agent advises him but I’ve heard that he loves it at Orient for the reasons already mentioned and maybe he will re sign.
However I would hope that Lingy or RW have already identified possible replacements.

Ipswich have, unsurprisingly, taken up his option.

That’s the end of that then I suspect. As you said earlier they won’t pass up on a fee and why should they. indications were that he was likely to be released, The manager staying on was probably the end of any chance of Idris being let go.

He will likely be loaned out to a Championship club for a season if not kept for their PL Squad

You and quite a few others, lots of Ipswich supporters where I live thought he was gone and probably would have been If McKenna had left. Not to say he would have come to us, Ipswich turned down a six figure bid for him last season so whatever they turned down has probably gone up now they are prem. let’s hope we can get a decent replacement.

Quite a few ITFC fans I know think he’s been messed about by the club as he’s not going to play-for the first team.

They will sell him , that’s why they’ve taken up the option to keep him signed . They know there are buyers out there , so why would they release him

No, I mean you literally posted on this thread saying they hadn't taken up the extension as if it was gospel.

Er no I didn’t best re read it, based only on what I was hearing from Ipswich supporting mates, I wrote that it looks like they haven’t taken up his option. Hardly gospel.

Initially I thought it was bit of a pee take. They don’t want him, let him go.

But I’m assuming they’ve been paying his wages the past two years and we’ve only contributed a part of it, so it’s fair enough.

And yeah, sadly reckon this means we’re now out of the picture. Bugger.

There’s nothing wrong with being wrong mate. You look less of a tw*t just accepting it and moving on than telling people they can’t read that you literally wrote something that is incorrect
