Not there anymore, I imagine one of the key things when the Cowley's took over was they get full control of transfers
Ross Embleton has now got a new job as West Ham Academy Head of Recruitment.
Wonder how he managed to do that ?
Not what you know Sid. Remember Steve Shorey get a paid holiday at WH. Same thing only there standard will decrease now.

So small budget but make sure we sign 22 quality players that won't get injured? Got it.

Spurs youth asst coach here then manager here, dof at Colchester is a decent cv. Remember Hendon was the number 2 once so hammers arent the best judges.

Yes, National League might suit him quite well………It’s painful to watch, I feel a bit sorry for him.

Wellens too.
Using all your subs well before the end when winning (I.e. not having to chase the game with wholesale substitutions ) and then having to play last 20 with10 is about as incompetent as it gets for a manager at any level.

If Richie did make a mistake last night then I'd rather he learned that lesson now rather than at the end of next season when hopefully we're right in the middle of the promotion mix .

When questioned by DV on that RW said he wouldn’t have done it in a game that counted, or words to that effect.

He took a gamble to get a look at more players knowing the result was meaningless in any case. OK it backfired but now is the time you can try a few things out.

Rewind back to Oldham away after we secured League 2 safety. People whined about fielding a squad full of fringe players and getting rolled over. End result, RW was able to prove to the board who to cut their losses on and we won the league the next season.

Fully expect to see a bunch of random picks against Derby too. We'll see who can cut it when they're thrown in the deep end and who needs to head off back to League 2 and beyond.

So far Simpson seems the same quality, and perhaps an upgrade, on Happe.
