When you see how many of these statues come out as a parody of the subject it makes you glad the Laurie Cunningham one does justice to him.

This and Ditto.
Its a great, realistic statue. Long may it remain in Coronation Gardens.

I say we take it, melt the thing down and sell for scrap, with the cash we offer it to Galbraith to stay another couple of years. Failing that we still sell for scrap and use the cash to buy a statue of Martin Ling

It only cost £7k to buy, how much do you think it'd fetch for scrap?

Hold on, are you saying we have to buy this from the council?? in that case we can bin this off now, if they are donating it to us, the price of scrap brass in the UK is currently between £2.00 and £3.50 per kilogram how heavy is the statue?
Its a valid point Joe, I was thinking this was like a big statue, seeing the picture this may only be a ton max, maybe we can just take the cash and buy some KFC buckets for fans in the family stand?

was thinking more like mini statues, sold in club shop and can sit on the desk or use as a paperweight or even to hold the door open, so it doesn't hit his ar*e as we kick him out

While we're on the subject, what happened to the proposed Martin Ling statue?
It's not going up, and it's not coming down
Just get a statue of a Sloth to save space. They seem to stay in one place and don’t move much.

Terrible waxwork figures with that look nothing at all like the real people, Beatles especially.
The Harry Kane statue is also a rather poor effort.

Where he was first turned down by an ex-Orient striker.
