I thought “come on, I’m no fan of Jones but being a left wing journalist isn’t a grift” then I googled and realised he has a patreon with a the statistics nicely private…
I've checked the website link above and, unless I've missed it, We Deserve Better are not exactly forthcoming with stats on how much they've had donated and what that money has been used for either.

Yes I'm so glad that careerist centrist politicians who change their convictions on a day to day basis, according to focus groups - will be in control of the country shortly. The 'Adults in the room'
I'm so happy that their ego's and CV's will be boosted by being in power and changing absolutely nothing. Useful for when they go onto sit on the boards of Gambling, Pay day loans and Energy firms when Murdoch decides he's had enough of them.
'Things can only get better' - rinse and repeat

We are collective.
Cringe.
They sound like the Borg coming to assimilate us into purple haired, keffiyeh wearing, sandal dragging, omnicause protesting, non-binary, vegan automatons.

At least Corbo has Islington North in the bag if MI5 asset Mason gets the Monoparty nomination.

What makes you say that?
It looks like the Labour left and assorted radicals have finally realised they need a clean break from the Xtreme Centrists, and are setting up a broad left/unions/community groups/activists/uncle Tom Cobboly and all type structure similar in some ways to Podemos and Syrizia.
If us Scots can sometimes unite our Marxist sects I think this new thing could have legs. Fundemental to that is to; Firstly, leave known esoteric areas of disagreement at the door and unite on areas of agreement.
Secondly, it cannot have a narrow parliamentary focus and can't act as the conscience of the Labour Party so it must lead extra parliamentary activity.
Thirdly, it needs to build a trade union base and long term disaffiliate them from Labour and get them to affiliate to the new party. There are some easy early wins with the RMT, FBU and Unite.

Apart from this bit, that's a solid plan.

There’s lots of groups on the go though and there doesn’t seem to be much chance of unity. Then you have parties that had electoral success but were flashes in the pan. Then you’ve got the SCG who will hold onto their Labour cards until the end.
The mainstay has been the Greens I suppose but for some reason they’re too green and not red enough for a chunk of the left.
As I say, quite Judeans People’s Front

Exactly what I would expect an Xtreme Centerist to say. Thank you for not letting me down.

Finally, a bit of clarity on what donations have been used for.
Corbyn. Of course. It was never going to be anything else, was it?

It was going to be anything else because the article says they are also supporting the Green PPC in Bristol.

If one wishes to support a particular loony left candidate then what is the benefit of paying a loony left grift to channel my money to them instead of paying them directly myself?

Depressing time for politics all round, but im unconvinced that leaving the Labour Party months before it gets into power is the best means to try to persuade/pressure/force the next government to be better.
Re: the “f*** off if you don’t like it” “no not like that!!!” memes, I suspect Pammy is right that the right of the Labour Party is very happy for the left of the Labour Party to remove themselves from having any stake in it.
Re your second para my Westminster source tells me that there is also a real war between the soft Left Milibandas and the Tory right types in the party. A lot of it is personality based but they are not happy about TelAvivKeiths surge to the far right.
But it is NOT the “far right” is it. First priority: (if he’s elected) is to boost the NHS. Second is to tax private schools. Hardly “far right”.
