It’s nice to be just about free from relegation everything else is a bonus, feel a bit sorry for Carlisle they have some good support as shown by the turnout at the O’s.

Realistically, we would need the run to continue for next 5 games and see what the table looks like at the end of Feb.

Will need the squad to say injury free, and hope one of the young loan forwards, is our 88/89 Kevin Campbell 🙏

I trust RW, but don’t understand why Pigott is still getting mins, ahead of the 2 new loanees?
Pigott is embarrassing and the young guys deserve to be given a chance.

It’s exciting times, so let’s enjoy 💪🏻
Fordes not doing a bad impression of big Kev
Shaq Forde, getting better with every game, really impressive & is going to be some player.

The two new loanees are not playing because they’re not ready.

This Saturday's game against Barnsley is a real test of our mettle - if we can get a result there .....

I personally think Barnsley are the strongest team in League One so if we can get at least a draw up there I feel we would have a very good chance of gate crashing the playoffs. However I can’t see us going the rest of the season unbeaten so if we lose anywhere it would probably be at Barnsley.

it is unlikely, but in the last 10 games we have closed the gap by 7 points - there are still 16 games to go!

We obviously have a sniff but without Agyei I wonder if we'll score enough goals.

As long as we're not looking over our shoulders to relegation with six games to go I'll be happy.

Team finishing in 21st has had 47,40 and 45 points in the last three seasons another 2 wins would guarantee safety.

I have always viewed 52 points as the benchmark for League One safety . We've nearly achieved that total so I'm happy . Anything after that is a bonus .

🙂 Yes seriously , predictions done with my glass completely full head on

Richie appears to be up for it , so why not

I am aware of the many reasons 'why not' but let's not dwell on them.

Cant see us winning 7 at home. We've only managed an average of 1 goal a game at home this season.

Reckon we'll win more than 2 away though.
Would you settle for 7 × 1-0's home wins
That extra away win will help, I'd like it to be at Stevenage

For: we've made up more ground than this in previous seasons under Slade
Against: we still have to go to Barnsley, Oxford, Stevenage & Derby and most of our recent upturn in form was achieved with Dan Agyei in the team

Definitely. Although i wouldn't be enthralled.

Whether to avoid relegation or get into the play offs, I'm sure everyone is working flat out to keep this unbeaten run going.

Stevenage without Agyei and Omar is not a great prospect.

The loss of Agyei is massive, and means we will probably just fall short. If Dan had been playing in our last 2 games we would have won both by 4 or 5 goals.
Its still possible however, just not as likely now

Hopefully Omar will be back by then. But it's certainly not the kind of match you'd expect Adu-Adjei or Edwards to thrive in.

Let’s see what our latest loaners can do.

Let’s be honest a back-to-back promo would be stunning and not something we’ve ever done but we’d get pulverised in the Championship and be straight back - is that worth such an early rise?

Actually, yes . The club has ambition so we must try .

It’s certainly not an easy call but my concern would be the ‘stickability’ of many of the crowd whom we gained these recent years during relatively good times. Would they stay if we went up and straight down? We could not endure the associated lose of revenue and we could languish in L1 longer as a result.

My fear arises because these days those prepared to take a longer term view seem to be a fading breed.

Still, let’s thrash Barnsley first :-)

I predicted 80 points at the end of the season, so I am expecting play offs as a minimum.
