RW’s outburst was described by Travis as we’ve all said things we regret, which is fair enough. Confirmed the relationships between NT/ML/RW are good and strong.
You don’t want Ritchie to lose his passion, but he really needs to be engage his brain before opening his mouth.
We all love him whatever though
Onwards and upwards.
That’s only fair enough if RW has since apologised. If he hasn’t it sounds condescending.

“I’m obsessed with succession planning and talent management” says the man with a background in HR who oversaw the Embleton, Fletcher, Embleton, Jobi, Jackett experiment.
I Had a laugh at that as well.

Overnights as well & lots of rest, with Saturday Tuesday for Feb & March they'll need it.

Ruel obviously has a role to play in the squad but just take Saturday as an example. With Agyei or an equivalent senior striker up top instead, we would have absolutely demolished Carlisle.
Takes some front to say 'we're going for it' after that transfer window.
..Not sure about the 'demolish' bit. Football doesn't work like that, does it.
Ruel slotted home very nicely on Saturday.

NT also said that Peterborough turned down £3m for Hector. That would have been £600k (20%) our share. He also said the board are looking for new investors in case we get to championship.

It is a weird thing to say when they clearly aren’t going for it
Lingy literally said they’re not going for it last week.
I don’t mind them not going for it. I understand the reasons why they wouldn’t this season.
Just don’t treat us like idiots and lie about it.
What lie?
That 'we are going for it'.

Plenty of people on here putting the boot in on NT. I tell you something I would take him every day rather than a Chairman agreeing to spend 3 million quid on Hector. Now that is insane.

Then maybe he has apologised? He doesn't need to advertise that if he has.

The non explanation for the Interview removal is sill puzzling, considering we led the way with streaming, the great media team in place & Travis jnr being a leading light in the I.T world.

The supreme irony in this is that Richie is the one who has delivered the success that enables the rest of them to get away with "move along, there's nothing to see here".

Did the interview actually get removed as when whoever posted on Saturday that it had, I went on the clubs official website and opened straight away.
Could it of been a case of the person who originally posted it had been removed didn't have any WiFi & couldn't actually open it and because of this the whole thing has been blown out of proportion...just a suggestion.

Few fans were expecting us to be 9th at this point of the season. It has raised a possibility that the club wasn't planning for - namely that there is a small chance of play-offs (Bookies have it at between 12 and 17 to one). The club is planning for slower improvement - on and off the pitch - with the stadium being a major obstacle. RW has worked wonders with what he has been given, and is ambitious - so its going to be hard to keep him happy unless we are progressing fast. Best outcome this season a) we squeak into the play-offs - and whatever the outcome - it will be seen as a great success b) we get close to the play-offs but finish 7th/8th / 9th - showing RW that next season is a real possibility. A poor end to the season will naturally limit enquires for RW. I think another big obstacle to the club is that NT and KT do not want to loose overall control of the club - which means its hard to bring in serious investors needed for a new stadium or Championship Footy. At some point they might have to become minority shareholders - but hopefully to carefully picked investors. It was easier in the NL...

I know people say there is no money in football but there must be. Carlisle and Bradford both agreed fees with this club before Swindon paid up and took Drinnan! I think that because we have become a more successful club on the pitch it makes even our marginal players (like Drinnan) marketable. Two years under Ritchie would have made Dan Kemp saleable IMO; both Ruel and Happe are saleable as would Theo and Brown be. I don't think we have not been able to say that for a long while.

I watched it without any problem on Saturday night and I didn’t think it was as bad as others have reported.
He seemed a bit frustrated that we didn’t move quickly for targets but I’ve seen him more pissed than that.

It was around 7pm I watched it aswell, so I wouldn't of known it was blocked beforehand...fair do's.
Just another bit of information which may or may not be relevant is that Ritchie has bought and is living in a property in Buckhurst Hill and is no longer renting in Brentwood so I would like to think he isn't going anymore anytime soon otherwise if he had any doubts and near future plans of the club he would of continued to rent the flat he was living in.

Thought he lived with Paul Terry ?
Said the other week P.T went to the petrol station to
get him some chocolate.
He also said he was looking at maybe moving the family down , but was holding back because of his 15 year old boy & his exams.
NT also said he hadn't heard RW say that &
Said he was still living up north

I don’t know what’s madder. Someone making a £3m bid for him, or someone turning down said £3m bid.

I was told the above by a friend who helps coach the young kids over at our training ground who see's both Ritchie and PT regularly, so I can only go with what I'm told.

I also watched it and it was nowhere near as bad as our drama queens would have you believe . Richie was calm and as always spoke a lot of sense. If mistakes have been made we must learn by it and not make the same mistakes again.

Have you even listened to the interview ?
His explanation for how they’re ‘going for it’ is arguably worse than not getting an experienced striker
Are you for real?
Yes. “We’re going for it” to him is making sure the team has the basics in place to do their job. Well done to the board.

Really not sure what kind of owners would prevent you having a negative outlook tbh. Bit sad.
They’ve done a lot of good for the club but I don’t have to suffer the bollocks they come out with to appreciate the good. You might want to.
