Re: Clapham attack
It would seem to me that the point is that mentioning “micro aggressions” in the context of an acid attack is deeply stupid

Re: Clapham attack
If there’s an image that represented why the concept of “wokeness” is not simply about “wanting to make society better” but is instead about performative adherence to ostensibly progressive beliefs that demand nothing of the people discussing it, it’s talking about micro aggressions on newsnight against a background of a monstrous, acid burned violent mad man who committed an evil, violent crime after every safeguard we have failed utterly

If only someone had reminded him to hold the door open for the lady coming into the Halal butcher's after him, this would never have happened.

You should all jump into the comments section of that tweet and give the Freds and others your support.

Do you think micro aggressions are a useful prism through which to view this unfolding situation?

Re: Clapham attack
That was just a ruse to get asylum. Throwing acid around at a woman and children , I’d deport him back to Afghanistan.Friend or faux wrote: ↑Fri Feb 02, 2024 8:37 am He's come from Afghanistan. He has converted to Christianity ( to aid granting of asylum?). In Afghanistan, conversion to Christianity = death sentence!

Friend or faux:- I see that you prefer to express your beliefs in good, plain simple English; so that everybody gets a grasp of your meaning.

Let me know how many syllables you can handle and I’ll try to pitch my posts to your reading age x

CEB :- I appreciate your thoughtfulness. I am 76 so pitch your comments at that age group. You don't happen to live in Paris do you ? Your ostentatious writing style reminds me of my ex-wife's brother. He went to Westminster, do you have a privileged background?
Re: Clapham attack
I have all the privileges one would expect of someone whose dad was a van driver and whose mum was a dinner lady x

Not sure what your age has to do with it.Friend or faux wrote: ↑Fri Feb 02, 2024 4:11 pm CEB :- I appreciate your thoughtfulness. I am 76 so pitch your comments at that age group. Re: Clapham attack
Preposterous Joe:- I am ignoring all your comments as you are a person who doesn't seem to believe that a person carrying out an act of aggression could also be carrying a weapon. At best you are naïve. Also by the way you are so "up" CEB, you are also probably CEB.

Re: Clapham attack
I'm surprised at this response because I never said any such thing and you wet your pants last week about people "rewriting the written record" or some such rubbish.
So which is it, are you in favour of misrepresenting what people say or not?

Re: Clapham attack
Strange that as Europeans we are prevented from spending more than 90 days in Europe and yet this sex offending piece of s—t can stay in Europe as long as he likes.
