I don't get why people get so hung up on swear words. They're just options from the great lexicon of english we can choose from. Really, why is calling someone a fanny any worse than a moron, imbecile, cretin, scum, etc?
They are but there is obviously a hierarchy.
The worst 3 IMO are:
1) Racialist swearwords - Ns/Ps etc
2) The c bomb
3) Benny
I've never really considered racist terms swear words. Definitely the most offensive though. The c bomb really depends on the context as it really doesn't have a defined meaning outside of its literal form.
Are you a Benny tied to a tree? No? Benny on the loose!
The C word is quite effective when not overused. If someone I knew who never swore used it to describe someone as a C it would really be effective as part of a sentence. It is quite weird how it is liberally used on TV these days and comical when American Actresses uses it in films as the cannot pronounce it properly. Using the word in public especially in presence of women and children is dreadful . One word I find increasingly offensive is the word โRaspberriesโ as it has so many connotations and Iโll find it hard to restrain myself if it was used in company of my family.
