Yes Indeed, 4 points off of a play off spot.
I have no idea what you’re waffling on about. Think I’ll stick you on foe as well.Joe315 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2023 9:35 pmso you can make a Tit of yourself saying almost verbatum what he wrote. Indeed . I've been one of Pigott's biggest critics but I really want the bloke to do well . Having another goal under his belt will hopefully do his confidence some good .
fans on pitch 84 /5 mins pitch cleared subs made 92 minutes. Ref tried to restart game is how I remember it.leebmx wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2023 11:21 pm The only reasonable outcome is to play whatever time
is left or call the result as is and I would be saying the same if we were 1 down. I don’t think any losing team in this situation would want to look as if they were benefiting from someone’s death.
Also we play enough football without adding another game to the schedule.
Also can someone tell me in what min the game was officially abandoned. I see 84mins but also 92mins.
Holland has a different attitude to most things. Having lived there as a youth for 6 months. They value pedestrian safety above vehicles and they really take cycling seriously. They have a good common sense take on matters.spen666 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2023 3:01 pmRecent Scunthorpe v Buxton game was abandoned owing to rain after 96 mins played. Referee had indicated there was to be 8 mins of stoppage timeJimbO wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2023 2:41 pm Think if it's a weather issue and something like an hour has been played then the result stands. as mentioned this is a bit different at 1-0 I would think that Lincoln would have every right to want the game to be replayed. If it had bee two or three then theirs more of basis to let the result stand.
buxton were winning
Game was ordered to be replayed.
There is no rule about a result standing after x minutes. It is upto the individual competition to decide. Hence why in Holland they sometimes restart and play last few minutes, but not in England
Hang on, aren't we getting a bit carried away here? Why would his family receive any of the match takings?Top of the JES wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2023 11:34 pm I can't see any other outcome other than the game will be replayed over the full 90 minutes starting at 0-0.
If that is the outcome entry should be at a reduced price and the proceeds split between Derek's family and the JE3 foundation.
Any restaging of the game will cost.Top of the JES wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2023 11:34 pm I can't see any other outcome other than the game will be replayed over the full 90 minutes starting at 0-0.

If you are asking "why" in the larger sense of the debate - I cannot answer that question
Fans would be entitled to a 40% refund of ticket costs if match is abandoned 9 and result does not stand presumably)6.3 Where a Match is postponed after you have entered the Ground, but before the Match has kicked-off, entry to the Ground or any substitute Ground for the re-arranged Match shall only be permitted on presentation of the ticket and subject to compliance with any other requirements announced by the EFL at the time. In the event of the abandonment of a Match after kick-off you will be entitled to either (i) a sixty per cent (60%) refund where abandonment occurs before the start of the second half of the Match or (ii) a forty per cent (40%) refund where abandonment occurs after the start of the second half of the Match but before the final whistle. In these circumstances you would need to purchase a new Ticket if the Match was rearranged.
Yep thanks but I know that - however it's the likeliest outcome.spen666 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 06, 2023 7:47 amAny restaging of the game will cost.Top of the JES wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2023 11:34 pm I can't see any other outcome other than the game will be replayed over the full 90 minutes starting at 0-0.

Floodlighting & other power
Policing costs
Stewarding costs & other staff costs
Cost of travel for Lincoln ( usually comes out of receipts when a game has to be restaged).
There are probably other costs as well.
Also, season ticket holder will get this game as part of season ticket, so only gate receipts to cover all the above will be those spectators who pay on a game by game basis.
I'm sure they will once they've been informed.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2023 11:22 pm I was hoping the club would put out a short statement on their website to tell us what's happening ..
This maybe so, but the most relevant thing in this scenario is have you seen anywhere that says; Leyton Orient 1, Lincoln City 0. RESULT ?
