I hear this given as the reason why our budget is limited though equally the owners can get around it by gifting money direct to the club so... not really a problem?

I reckon they have a lot bigher budget than we do and their owners have loads more cash in their pockets than ours too.

That's allegedly how Bournemouth got around it . Famous story of their Chairman buying a brick in their stadium for £1Million pounds . They are now currently in the Premier league so it worked . Incidentally I'm not saying our owners should do the same thing and anyway maybe that loophole has been closed .

I remember that story well, also read something on here last season that income from loans can't be counted but direct cash injection is still OK.
