Yes you do, you just think it's either edgy or hilarious to keep using it in this thread.

Im not saying it to be edgy PJ, Im simply saying it as I don't know what the term for a middle class Chelsea escort is today.

I'm sure you know better than anyone PJ that theres a difference between a simple male escort and the aforementioned "rent boy", they are simply not the same. The gentleman of the night even said as much in an article I've seen.

I'm open to suggestions if I have to mention his occupation again.

Not that simple in the gay scene, the gentleman in question was not some drug dependent "homosexual prostitute", he was a high class male model that would offer his services at high end parties and events

That's what set "rent boys" apart, btw before anyone gets offended, rent boy is the term Wootton has used on a number of occasions to describe the incident.

So a previous job of mine involved working at events and some of the nicest and friendliest people I have met and worked for are part of this scene. Sadly the fact they feel they need to hide their personal lives give the whole scene a shady feel but it's not different that the Hertro scene.

Never met Wootton so don't know if he's a creep.

Of course you do but they blend in more and it seems to be less organised, also because the stigma is not there it seems less creepy.

I worked for a point of sale company for these events and on a number of occasions at Gay led event there was a prepaid tab built into the system for the "rent boys", there was very much a culture of let's get the "rent boys" smashed.

So you don't have prepaid tabs built into the system for the common or garden prostitutes, and there isn't very much a culture of let's get the 'hoes' smashed?

Why do you think there is a stigma with paying for gay sex and it's creepy, but there's no such stigma with paying for straight sex and you don't find that creepy?

I don't know what's with the Stigma, I couldn't answer that one as I don't see the issue with it either way as long as two adults are consenting then who am I too judge.

As for your other question about your high-end straight prostitutes, no I to my knowledge I didn't know of a separate tab for this, it's not to say it never went on.

Its been along time since I worked Point Of Sale so I don't know if the culture has changed since,

Sorry you never got the answers you was looking for, Im sure you could get an invite to one of these events if you're curious.

But if you're looking to score you either need to be loaded, famous or good-looking.

It's all relative, of course, but around these parts it could be argued that he ticks the first two boxes. As for the third, well that depends if the object of his intended affection is attracted to Cyrano de Bergerac.

Don't forget Red, the reason he's being slated by some on here and already found guilty is because he has a regular slot on GB news.

The Mirror Group and The Guardian have both been forced to issue apologies and pay substantial sums to Dan Wootton.

It'll be interesting to see what The Byline Times do.
