Re: New Kits
Has anyone had any experience of getting names and numbers added? It doesn't appear to be an option online.

I had that in the 90's gave it away to a Dutch Fella in return for a Feynoord shirt when i was on a Kibbutz for a year.TRUMP Plumbing wrote: ↑Wed Jul 05, 2023 9:44 am This is the baman one

Re: New Kits
Yeah same, a few minor tweaks and it'd really workProposition Joe wrote: ↑Wed Jul 05, 2023 9:43 am Home kit was *almost* brilliant - a nod to the underrated Comet Roofing era shirt mixed with the England 82/86 away kit - but they've managed to balls it up. Sponsor is weirdly placed, knocks the whole thing off balance.
1) lose the stripes and white box bleed on the arm area, just have them on chest section
2) sponsor logo a tad smaller and lower down
3) sponsor logo in black

Re: New Kits
Home kit is just horrible. The white bit looks like a little bib or something. Really really odd choice. I can't imagine what the ones they rejected must have looked like.

I've got the away one in white, with the zebra crossing part in blue/black.JimbO wrote: ↑Wed Jul 05, 2023 9:45 amI had that in the 90's gave it away to a Dutch Fella in return for a Feynoord shirt when i was on a Kibbutz for a year.TRUMP Plumbing wrote: ↑Wed Jul 05, 2023 9:44 am This is the baman one

Not sure it still fits, mind.

“East dil secured” sounds like something that an ex squaddie on community service might say if you asked him to pop into the garden and get some herbs to go with the fish from the patch on the left

Re: New Kits
Yes , I think it does touch on that Independent Transport shirt from the Eighties . It’s ok but it won’t get me scrambling down to the club shop to buy one . I have to say though that white shirt looks awfulgshaw wrote: ↑Wed Jul 05, 2023 9:10 am It's... different
The very top part reminds me of the early 90's Independent Transport shirt though the white rectangle goes a bit too far across into the arms which makes it look a bit weird. Got a feeling it may grow on me though.
Real Estate sponsor so what with what Devlin said about improving the sponsorships we must be getting a good deal money wise

Re: New Kits
If they shifted everything down just a bit it would look so much better. The top half is incredibly busy then bottom half is plain red. As you say it's almost really good. But the concept is let down by how bad the actual design is.Proposition Joe wrote: ↑Wed Jul 05, 2023 9:43 am Home kit was *almost* brilliant - a nod to the underrated Comet Roofing era shirt mixed with the England 82/86 away kit - but they've managed to balls it up. Third kit the best but ruined with a crap v-neck, if they'd stuck with a round collar we'd be talking but nah.

Oops, got my sponsors mixed up. I wasn't old enough to watch the Os then, appreciate it's more vivid for you as you were there. Quite like the Baman one though.TRUMP Plumbing wrote: ↑Wed Jul 05, 2023 9:47 amThe Comet Roofing promotion shirt wasn't like the baman atrocityProposition Joe wrote: ↑Wed Jul 05, 2023 9:43 am Home kit was *almost* brilliant - a nod to the underrated Comet Roofing era shirt mixed with the England 82/86 away kit -

Re: New Kits
I'll not be buying one, ( not that i ever do), so not bothered. The home shirt is OK, the Away shirt is better, the third shirt is the best.
By this time next year, they will be history, so why people get worked up over a shirt is beyond me.
If the team win a lot of games, who cares what shirt they're wearing

Re: New Kits
To be honest, I don't really care what the kit looks like as long as we do well on the pitch!!

Re: New Kits
At least it’s not a standard template kit. I think you have to have a heart of stone to not appreciate a badly designed shirt, and this one is, at least, a homage to a previous shirt (though I can’t place which one)

Re: New Kits
You were so not-worked-up by a shirt that you Photoshopped a swastika onto our home kit a couple of years ago

Re: New Kits
Who would've thought a shirt design could be so bad it united this MB with Mungo's in terms of the overwhelming dislike of the home kit.

Re: New Kits
Oh wow.
It's still better than this years home shirt, to be fair.

Re: New Kits
Home shirt is OK, except for that awful white bar across the front. Was it designed by primary school kids having a competition - surely can't have been a 'professional' designer. Wish the blue shirt was the traditional/ original LOFC blue colour. However, as long as the O's don't have a season as bad as the shirts I'll be happy.
