Better second half Ling and Widdowson pushed further up and Brophy made some good ‘runs stretching Norwich in a way we didn’t first half. Brilliant ball in from Ling for Angol volley finish and then Josh Wright winning the ball back and drilling home the winner that the keeper should have done better with.

Summed that up quite nicely. Now we can wait for all the people who weren't there to tell us different!!

Ling will be first choice. We all know why.

Judd offers a greater threat going forward and more energy and effort overall when compared to journeyman NL level Ling. But Ling will get the gig. I wonder why. Well I don’t really.

Wasn't announced, a rough guess of 700/800 I would say. Also the weather was nowhere near as bad as they said.

Hey Mr Disinterested, he played well today, was a clever ball into Angol for the 1st goal. Your bias against his is highlighting your lack of football knowledge

I dare say his bias has more to do with seeing him and Judd play.

Never, Judd is honest, but hasn't got as much to offer as Ling. Time will tell, I've never seen the obsession with Judd. He's certainly no Terry Howard

At the start of this week I would have had a slight preference for Judd but he got the run around at Stortford Tuesday night and for someone with the experience he now has he was dreadful, second half today Ling played a perfect wing back role defended strongly showed a yard of pace and his ball in for Angols volley was sublime.

He will start on merit next week.

Norwich were extremely narrow, Widdowson and Ling won't have an easier game with the space they had to go forward into
Angol will polarise opinion, he looks like he will do nothing for 89 minutes then go and score or setup a goal
Wilkinson works very hard, had a great chance he missed
Wright is a tidy player, midfield pivot, dictating play, always there for a pass
Second half Orient were far better as they didn't sit so deep, pressed higher up the pitch
Lin's ball to Angol was lovely and the finish very tidy

All in all, I wouldn't say they looked great, first half especially

Ling is a steady, average player. Nothing exciting, maybe a long throw, but offers very little going forward bar the odd decent move. At the back OK but not outstanding. Judd can be quite exciting. Prone to the odd rash challenge but all action and a threat going forward. Give me Judd every time, unless I want 40 winks, then Ling is the man.

When I watch Ling to me he is a CB stuck in a RB's body, he wants to defend, he doesn't want to attack. In the 80/90's he would've been highly rated in the modern era of full backs he stands out more as he seems attacking averse ie taking on the man, swinging in the ball, taking positional gambles

A decent pass today for the goal. Ling will of course get the gig. I just hope he plays well, defends well and creates chances. Ross is unlikely to drop him.
