Legends can be viewed with different criteria. In terms of winning 2 trophies and being part of our rise from potential oblivion then Craig, and Dan Happe, may be viewed as Legends.
Laurie was the best player we have had since we won division 3 in 1970. He didn't win anything with us, neither did other greats but in my mind they are legends for what they gave us. I would also include Moses.

He has. But a legend this doth not maketh.
Being part of two promotion teams makes him a legend, methinks.

Legend or not, he’s not good enough for us in league one. Thanks for your immense contribution Craig, but time to move on

It's all about opinions. In mine Craig Clay is a legend. Been with us 6 years. Every game he played he's given 110%, never shirks a tackle, never stops running, does lot of the 'dirty' stuff, allows others to get forward.
To me Craigs a legend

Somehow I can't see myself gathering up the grandchildren around the fireplace and telling them the legend of Craig Clay. Massively over-used term in the football world. Great servant of the club though.

Proved to be a good signing, i think ling said at the time he'd be one of the best.
Carried our midfield virtually single handedly during our National League seasons
You're thinking of Jobi who we converted from a winger to a CDM because all of our other midfielders - Clay included, at the time - weren't up to it.

A contribution as big as his face.
Agreed with this, he's been a good servant to the club, will always be welcome back, but his time is up.
