You only have to see over the course of pre-season, that 2 or 3 injuries leaves us a bit light.
The people in charge will know that & will no doubt be preparing to strengthen the squad before the window shuts.

This thread seems to have gone a bit quiet. Got to admit I expected a new face or two by now, said as much. My predictions are living up to their usual crap levels. Last time I listen to Orient management. Still, a week to go so all is not lost.

Teague said today that he expects signings before the window closes. The window closes on August 8th.

For Leagues One and Two the deadline is Monday 2nd September.

Am I right in assuming there is no window should you want to take on an unemployed player.

Only if their registration has also been released. The league can intervene if a player's contract is terminated intentionally so a player can sign for someone else though.

That being the case then I expect there will be a number of players available, for free, and looking for work anywhere just to keep their career going and a wage coming in. And keen to impress. A L2 bench will be very attractive to them.
