Do it. He's got a George Moncur esque abillity to shield the ball, can beat players, has the physicallity and athleticism - looked a league above Crewe.

Turns 30 in the summer, which might go against him. Gillingham would pay handsomely for his services as well as giving a 2-3 year deal - if he's even really available.

The bidding war has started as Charlton make their bid , Derby Wrexham & Gillingham all likely to follow .

Alfie may, Alfie may not. We are unlikely to outbid any of the above.

The one thing that seems crystal clear is he won't be staying at Cheltenham . Without his goals Cheltenham will struggle next season .

Although he has another year left on his contract He’s already told Cheltenham he doesnt want to play for them again, he’s leaving and he has plenty of interest.

Probably will go to Wrexham cos of the dosh. His family live right near Charlton though so that might swerve it. But, ultimately, money talks...

Wrexham managed to sign Mullen cos of the dosh so will probably try the same thing with Alfie May . I'd agree it looks like it could be between Wrexham and Charlton who signs him .

Charlton offered a deal yesterday. Derby also in the running. Orient cannot compete with either
