Our question was not asked, even though NT said he requested the most difficult questions from luke.

The bit about light shows and ice hockey style music whenever the ball is out of play was slightly alarming.

Think I heard them say Sky have the rights so you should be able to watch with a NowTV day pass if they're broadcasting it instead

That's mad
Not sure, really.

It averages out at about 1 in 7 matches missed for every ST holder. Or roughly 3 or 4 games missed in a season each. Is that so unlikely with holidays, sickness, other family commitments etc?

If the season ticket discount breaks even at c15 games there will always be no shows. Can’t see how people’s behaviour will ever change. The majority will buy knowing that they won’t be out of pocket over the season, plus the sheer convenience of attending as and when.

Bournemouth are in the Premier League with an 11k stadium. A new stadium is a long way down the list of things we need.

When you put it like that, no. Fair enough. I have an ST and obviously don't make every home game because life. Just sounded a bit surprising as a headline figure - ie if we 'sell out', then up to 1,350 people with tickets might not show.

Why? So they take your money all year and on the final day, if you can’t make the game, you don’t get to see it?

I don't think that's right.

If we're looking at roughly 4,000 STs and 4,000 on the day tickets per game with 1,000 no shows (very approximate figures), you would have to assume that nearly all of the ticket purchases would attend, so it's 1,000 / 4,000 STs that don't attend. Which my maths makes around 25%, or 6 games missed per season out of 23.

We need to make it easy and worthwhile for non ST holders to return their ticket when not attending - clearly the current scheme hasn't worked.

Oh no, you won't be able to do your usual

Vigaro - 5, record 30th clean sheet for the season but poor distribution

Beckles - 5, sound but not as good as whichever white defensive partner is playing alongside him today'

The stadium was independently valued by local agents - Harry N. Bear & Sons FRICS, I believe - so not sure what you're implying here?

Surely an expensive scoreboard has to pay for itself very quickly through advertising? I can't recall a match where I've lost track of the scoreline. I also have a phone to tell me how long has been played, this copes better with the mysteries of added time than a scoreboard that stops on 45 and 90. Furthermore I understand the maintenance of scoreboards is a money pit.

Agreed. I'm seriously annoyed that it's even on a shopping list at all when the priority should be to get a much needed goal scorer in.

This bit worried me as well. Alongside that other board member talking about playing a pre match singalong to get the crowd going and Devlin talking about how impressive it is in the prem when they drown out the fans with massively ott sound and light shows, bit worried about the possibility that they try to Yankify the club. Incredibly loud music and naff on pitch gimmicks do nothing to improve the match day experience, seems to be something that only out of touch execs seem to like

Just watched the whole thing on YouTube. Very interesting and well done to NT and MD for taking the time to do this. About 50% we have heard before and only 25% was totally new to me. It's all down to money, what isn't and I believe we have sensible businessmen who love the Os, running the business so I'll continue to support the team wholeheartedly and wish the football and management team all the best with their intentions. promotion to L1 here we come (though that will just put us back to where we were in 2015) but I'm sure the Championship will be reached. And that will bring on a whole host of new problems to NT & KT.

Yes, I would say very alarming. But our American friends would have no idea why..I hope someone, somewhere can nip this idea in the bud soonest.

Stadium was valued at £15m. We lease 70% of the west stand for £1/annum.

Hooligans - please we have no hooligans or OTF - all in the past
Every time a visiting team comes in numbers the loud crew in the Tommy J stand lose their bumhole once outside the confides of the stadium - people have a past ,most people who were teenagers in the 80’s and 90’s that went football were usually into the football hooligan culture …but your moral compass changes-Stevenage was lively but where were our so called hooligans !!!I rest my case

What was the response from Travis/Devlin to this very pertinent question on both hooliganism at Orient and the clubs close association with a certain media outlet?
Ok, I've listened through the Q&A session, very quickly, but couldn't hear The Rev's question being asked? That's a bit odd, maybe the club don't visit this forum after all?

The bit that caught my ear was the club announcing they are in talks with a group of fans re the atmosphere inside the ground and how they can - and I quote Devlin at this point - 'make it more intimidating'. Who are this group of fans they're in discussion with. It's not me. Is it you? Anyone know what this is all about?

More intimidating to who?
If they want to make it more intimidating, they may have to revisit their silencing of the OFF initiative. That one has seriously backfired on them.
