Actually, yes. A number of TelFUDS were quite annoyed and were spoiling for a fight, and there were a few skirmishes afterwards. Unless there has been a miscarriage of justice, it' s not normal to receive a custodial sentence for reasonable self defence. I wasn't at that game.
Several people who were there have said some Telford fans were looking for trouble. (I have been away in the past to some of these lower league shitholes and that doesn't surprise me, they freak out when a 'big' side come to town).
It is not beyond the realms of possibility that these guys were acting in self defence, is it?
