RW said he felt something wrong in the warm up. This is happening too often . The same thing happened last year when the pitches become too heavy. That’s why Sadler was brought in as a cover . We cannot have a player where you train all week and drops out just before kick off. If he played then Sadler could have played instead of Moncur in his position. RW said he has to have another scan the third time in as many weeks.

Smythe is a real risk for any team to take on .His injury record is not good particularly when he keeps pulling out in warm ups before kick off

Exactly and he's our best player . When Smyth doesn't play we're not the same . Are we becoming a one man team by relying on him to produce a piece of individual magic to win us the game .

He's played nearly every game this season.

I didn't believe this statement but soccerbase says he's started 23 games and come on as sub once out of our 28 league games.

The fact is that he's already played more minutes than any season since he came to England.

If Smyth goes and we don't bring in any more players then I'd say this transfer window would be as bad as last season .

I find it very strange that the one position that we need to strengthen hasn’t been addressed, it’s not the first time it’s happened? IMO two of the latest signings were just a waist, wouldn’t the time, money(if any)and effort been better used 🤷‍♀️🙊

I'm sure that a lot of 'addressing' has been going on, but for whatever reason we haven't been able to sign the people we've been after / they've not fancied us / we can't pay enough / a northern based player doesn't want to be on loan to a southern club etc etc etc

Does the Window close at Midnight?

Do deal’s really continue to be worked right up until then?
