I'm shocked at the way people said McCart played today . I would have expected a damn sight more from a player who's appeared seven times in the championship this season . Not blaming them at all, but as someone already said not the kind of players I was hoping to get in the door. Especially when we are top of the league. These players are the type you sign when out of form or just need bodies through the door. With the return of James and Beckles next week our defence will be stronger .Archibald and Moncur should also be starting next week as well .My only real concern is our strikers are not scoring . I don't know how much is left in the budget but we need to bring in a new striker . We arent scoring because we arent dominating play &creating good chances for our strikers to score . RW has to figure a way of creating &scoring chances to help us win . Zero shots on target today, more importantly virtually no clear cut chances created for 6 games now. We’ve lost arguably two of the best centre backs in the division. Happe is 6’5” and Omar 6’3”. That’s a lot of height to lose and we have looked weaker because of it. Omar should be back next game and will be great to have back.
We’re still a very good side. We need our defensive players back and a little more from our midfield and strikers.
We have been off it last few weeks but this might be the kicking we needed to push us on.
We’ve got a fantastic manager who will take stock over the next few days and have us ready for the next one.
