Why do we start games so slowly and why don't we know what to do at short (normal) throw-ins? Answers on a postcard

The heavy pitch at Newport won’t suit Smyth, perhaps another reason why he’s on the bench.
I wonder why we are getting the same
pitch next season ?

Did we really pay £350,000 for George Moncur as I've heard said? And he's still not fit enough IMO.

Drinan shot tipped round the post, then Kelman misses a very presentable headed chance. That’s more like it.

I'd be having strong words with my team at half-time if I was RW.

Newport County have been the better team.
We need more from Moncur and Drinan.

Very scrappy and you can see the drop in quality with the changes. Highlights the need to bring 1-2 quality players in during the window.

Poor quality half.
Newport the better team, although they literally created one chance, in the last minute of the half that somehow was saved from 1 yard. We played some decent football for about ten minutes but we are lacking up top. Moncur done f all and the other three not much more. I’d throw on Smyth and be tempted to put on pratley and push el miz into the 10 position

New hybrid pitch, wasn’t aware of that when made me heavy pitch comments
Fair play to Newport.
We’ve played poo poo so far.

That Andrew in the studio talks more and more nonsense every week. Waffles on about nothing.

Definitely need to think about bringing Smyth or Moncur for the second half.

Already a few half chances where you're just wishing we had a penalty box poacher to read those balls coming into the box

I was just about to say maybe he’s not completely over his recent illness. Maybe it’s time to take him off and change the midfield
