The referee seemed so naive, you'd have thought this was his first ever game in the EFL

Some of the same people creaming themselves when we play act and waste time getting angry when the oppo do it and when refs don’t give us pens for making more of a challenge than is needed. Word gets around about teams and players who do that
My view is the same as Richie's, no problem with other teams doing it as we (now) do the same, that's the game. What's a joke is us getting punished for it but the opposition getting away with it.
Really ? So when we're playing away we time waste as bad as what Newport did yesterday ?

Think it’s fair to say in at least a couple of recent home games we, as Richie eluded to, have ‘managed ‘ the end of each game by taking the ball into the far corners and keeping it there.
Newport were probably more blatant yesterday but it’s much the same and makes it difficult for referees and frustrating for fans.

We have been as bad as Newport at time wasting, yes. That’s why we keep getting whacked with 6/7/8 minutes injury time.

The only difference yesterday was not one of their players was booked for it and only 5 minutes was added on.

Said all season, it ruins the spectacle and something needs to be done about it. A few minor tweaks would easily sort it.

We're just not as good at it as them.

I’m saying they’re better at it than us because of the amount of time added on. Our shithousery concedes 7 or 8 minutes, there’s only 3 or 5.

Surely there's a way of standardising time added on where you're allowed X amount of time for a throw in, substitution, injury stoppage etc, and anything above that is added on at the end? Don't know if that's already in place in principle but like with var coming in because it became untenable to not use replays when everyone could see what had happened on their phone immediately, time wasting by a winning side is blatant to everyone watching and needs addressing. Obvious cheating is terrible for the spectacle more than anything else.
