Thats not happened since the
7th of may 1966

They were relegated to present Div One in 1998.

And we were in division 3 after relegation in 94-95 & didnt get back up until 2004-5 season , City were long gone then .

That's right.

In my living memory the only three teams (in the top four divisions) we've not played in any competition are Liverpool, Manchester City and Burton Albion - the other ones quoted as not having met in a league game in 50 years are quite correct, but we've come across them in the FA or League Cup.

Well, if you were alive then, you would have seen us play them around 1964.

I don't think we have played AFC Wimbledon in the league. We have in the tinpot trophy. That will change this season obviously.

My first ever O's game was at home to Manchester City in May 1966, a 2-2 draw, they were promoted to Div One, we were relegated to Div Three.
