Yes to a certain extent. But you look to reduce that risk by being in players who are known, or experienced, with a track history.

Flogging off Hector, when we knew exactly what we were getting with him, only to replace him with another inexperienced untested kid is bonkers.
We didn’t want to lose Hector. Peterborough met his buyout clause and so we had no alternative to sell him, as he wanted to sign for them,
An ok, fair enough. Is that confirmed anywhere?

It would be great if we could bring in a whole squad of experienced, 10/10 players but it doesn't ever work like that does it?

The injury record is a concern but as far as his credentials, I'd go with the positive opinions of numerous Ipswich fans rather than any O's fan that hasn't seen him play football.

A few days ago you said Hector wasn't a first choice player! I think you've got too many aliases on the go and you're getting confused. Maybe it's the heat....

I'm seeing my old friends who are Tractor Boy supporters during the weekend, I'll ask what they think of him. If he's does as good a job as Drinan (who also came from Ipswich) that'll do me.

I have suggested that at 20 years of age, he shouldn’t have been our main CDM. As much as I rated him, it was unfair to have no senior player in that position and just a load of other kids like Brown and Coleman to challenge him.

But he was.

Hector had in his contact a clause, that stated if a club came in with a bid for him of £300,000 …( I'm guessing that figure ), we had to let him talk to that club, and if he wanted to go, then he had to be allowed to go.
All those things happened, so he went.
We didn't sell him as such, he wanted to go, and we had no option
Seems people on here don't seem to understand that

Am I allowed to nickname him El Paso if he's good at ball distribution?

Kyprianou has got off to a blinder at Peterborough. I think for some going up a higher league suits. It's a different style of play and he's got better players around him.

Glad to see Hector starting well, I wish him the best of luck and hope he does well.
Nobody should stand in his way and criticise club or player…….he just wants to try and better himself. If it doesn’t work out then he’ll come back to L2 level.

Wouldn’t be surprised if he does, and personally would like to see him start, but in RW we trust!
However my guess is Shad will start there and El Mizouni will be on the bench ready to be introduced at HT or on the hour.

Let us see him play for at least 5 games before we judge as to if he was a good signing or not.
After all..........''The proof of the pudding is the eating'' !

After what Richie said on Tuesday, I can't see Shad filling in there again.

The most obvious option is to throw him in and see how he does/how long he lasts. Change him out and go back to square pegs in round holes if we have to.

Glad he's here. I hope he is the final part of the Jigsaw
I'd be very interested to know how come it took since May, to get him here . I read we were interested 3 months ago.
Still better late that never eh?
