Re: Coronavirus
Interesting article in today's Mail in a Sunday, suggesting the virus didn't come from Wuhan market but was man made.
I posted a couple of months back, that I thought it was man made.
This study doesn't validate that theory, but it suggests I may have been right
Anyway it's an interesting read

But there seems to be a repeat thing with you - highlighting something you said weeks/months ago in a post and then stating or suggesting you were right back then. Good for you for suggesting this months back - but you weren't alone and it's hardly sticking your neck out to claim something like this, is it? You could have just posted the link and your first sentence and left the self indulgence afterwards out, but you seem to have an obsession with being right.
I'm interested to see if you also be putting up "I posted a few months ago about xyz and I was wrong" posts too, as haven't seen any of those.

Re: Coronavirus
They have come up with an alert system calculated on the rate of infection + number of infections and get a number that is less than 5. And you trust the numbers being pumped at us?Top of the JES wrote: ↑Sat May 16, 2020 1:01 pmThey? Re: Coronavirus
You seem to be an expert in this field what system do you suggest instead? Let me know and I will contact the scientists and professors who have come up with the system currently being used and tell them they are wrong.RedO wrote: ↑Sun May 17, 2020 11:37 amThey have come up with an alert system calculated on the rate of infection + number of infections and get a number that is less than 5. 170 deaths in today's update, with the usual caveat about Sunday figures being lower. Six drugs to combat Covid-19 have proceeded to clinical tests

Re: Coronavirus
Welcome to the new "Project Fear" - whipped up in in a large part by the media.
I do not agree with the people being at the pub mentioned above - whilst there are instructions not to do that, people should abide by them.
But statistically, the likelihood of catching covid-19 by just by walking around outdoors is negligible. You'd have to walk past a few hundred people at least, and have one of them cough or similar just as you walked past, and be close enough to them to breath it in.

Re: Coronavirus
I guess it depends what you do outdoors. Walking around on your own is probably fine, going to a busy location and touching stuff - not so much.
I think you're less likely to come into contact with an infected surface if you're indoors in your own home with your own family and you have some element of control over who comes and goes, and what precautions everyone is taking - so being indoors is probably at the safer end of things.
That's not project fear - just common sense.
