I made my point because in my view some justified criticism of Israel is classed as antisemitism. As terrible as October 7th was & it was, what has happened since then is beyond belief plus we've had to endure many months of lies, propoganda & gaslighting by one of our allies.
I say to those who justify everything that Israel has done - if you won't condemn the killing of both Israeli & Palestinian children then you have no humanity.

Israel has gone too far with the civilian casualties, that can’t be denied.
I agree with the last paragraph but a lot of people don’t. They want retaliation. They want violence, because it suits their political view.
We need a ceasefire and a real push for peace.

What political view carries out a genocide?
There can be no peace until there is a secular socialist state in Palestine.
A state that respects all religions, faiths and none and restores the stolen land to the rightful owners. Not the colonists.

This is the core of the issue. But I can not see any of the participants in the region (whether allied with Israel or the Palestinians) ever allowing a strong secular state to emerge and take hold. It would represent too much of a threat to their domestic regimes. I'd love to be wrong, but we all know I'm not.

From "The Scotsman": we told on Thursday how the Dreadnought Pub in Leith has been praised for cancelling its annual Eurovision screening after receiving complaints from regular customers over Israel’s inclusion in the competition.
