You have to admit that there's a certain type who go out of their way to comment and point at everything except the great big elephant in the room. Russia is the aggressor here. There's no ambiguity. All of that is correct but Abbott is actually calling for the avoidance of war by diplomatic means. What is wrong with that ?

Diplomatic means threatening economic and political sanctions for any aggression which the US and Germany have done a by standing together. Putin wasn't expecting such a steadfast response.

"Negotiated peace in Ukraine". Just what do you think that means exactly? Could the recent Stop the War poster, showing a map of Ukraine minus Crimea have anything to do with it? The one thing they are all consistent one is a complete absence of condemnation of Russian actions. Funny that.

At best this lot are simply too thick to understand that they're being useful idiots. At worst, they're willing participants.
