You brought up the Truss poisoning not me, do really and truthfully think that Truss would poison the Queen, for what possible gain.
This is a terrible deja vu for me.

Max, I suspected you to be an admirer of the Irish along with Tuffers. The Nation that formally offered their condolences to the German Nation on the suicide of Herr Hitler.

Strange I never imagined that I would feel the effect of her passing so deeply. Age tends to change one"s perspective, I suppose. Yes the imperial background inevitably made her a symbol of oppression for many, yet within her capacity she has been largely faultless. I despise how the media often fawn over the Royals, and as indiviuals many of them, as far as I can see, are unpleasant. I hope that Charles continues the process of modernization.

Have they also formally offered condolences to Germany for the death of their Queen?
The leaders of the Irish nation did that Hitler thing not the people.

The Irish Times isnt really looked on as an Irish paper, youd be lucky to find a report of a G.A.A Match in that rag !

Quite remarkable that only 48 - 52 hours before she died she performed her final 2 pieces of Royal duties:
1. Meeting Johnson to accept his resignation (the PM who unlawfully prorogued parliament in 2019 and then got her to make a Queen's speech in October when he had no majority and no proper authority to run a government. Also the PM who blabbed about their private audiences, totally against protocol, basically the PM who was most disrespectful of her role and duty)
2. Meeting with Truss who in one of her earlier political incarnations as a member of the Liberal Democratic Party was loudly anti monarchy
Queen Elizabeth II dutiful to the end.

How bizarre that a child born last Sunday has already lived through two monarchs, two prime ministers but, more surprisingly, only two Chelsea managers
