Mick McQuaid wrote: ↑Mon Aug 03, 2020 10:27 am Those stats are from 2015/16 and are the amount overclaimed minus the amount recovered, which isn't the same as fraud. Overpayment of housing benefit accounted for about half of all the money lost, the payments going to the landlord rather than the person claiming benefits.

Of the remaining benefits the overpayment rate was estimated at just over 1%, for disability benefits (where there was the highest number of 'tip offs' by members of the public that someone might be committing fraud) it was estimated at less than 0.5%. Despite public opinion, especially amongst thickos like Thor who has repeatedly demonstrated what a thicko he is, it is in no way a 'massive issue.

Now for Dohnut to do his thing of saying lies, lies and statistics l, despite him being the person trying to use them as a basis for his argument.
Hi Mick,

You have just been grassed up by Tuffers for calling Thor a thicko and I have to agree it has spoiled a good post. Please consider this a warning.
But then you said i was a grass.

Im not sure which way you want me to post
Should i be helpful to you & not call people names ?

The way I see it, tuffers is now being bullied.

Can't people grow up on here FFS.

Despite our difference of opinions, we're all supposed to be bloody Orient supporters.

Dont worry Nun
The 1st warning i got was given to me for insulting someone after i offered an actual event that
Happeneed to my old man to be told.

viewtopic.php?f=3&p=119636#p119636

The person i insulted asked if it was another turgid story about me being chased through flats
By west ham fans , as it happens it wasnt & it happened when my dad a serving member of the
R.U.C & a catholic officer, had 2 guns placed against his head .

I told the story & insulted him after
So provocation would have been my defence.

Funny thing is yesterday
An Old school friend of my dads made the world news yesterday after dying &
I commented on the post made by the persons post in births deaths & marriages .

He liked it !!

I dont blame the mod for that warning as it was out of hand ,

But this one , I get accused of being a bigot by thor or a bully & grass by the mod &
I get warned because of name calling .

I reported Thors post it got ignored im pretty sure .

Still

I know the Mod doesnt like me & is doing his best to barr me from the board.

I wish he was just honest about it .

I mean where is the warning from him to admin for calling dohnut an Idiot .

On that note ill take my leave for a while , If i try to sign back in & cant ill know
The Mod in charge just lost his patience with someone who stood up to a bully .

If Admin was bothered about this board there would be 2 mods

Id nominate RedO or yourself just for some balance.

Anyway enough from me .

Time to annoy the other board i think for a while .

Admins are immune from prosecution.

I am reluctant to ban anyone and give people every chance.

I don't know why you feel so hard done by, posting 'Thicko Thory' is just unkind and you'd never say it to his face.

Thor wrote: ↑Sat Aug 01, 2020 6:46 pm Tuffers it’s a homophobic post aimed at two men in government you know what you were aiming at. You also know about fagging at these so called posh schools, you’ll also know that buggery and rape go on there.

You’re clever at times, but not so smart this time. You should delete your comment and apologise and we al move on.
Finally he asks me why it bothers me .

I call thor a slightly bad name .

Thor calls me a bigot.

All the other people I listed who showed you what the term Eton Fag means .

I complain about the accusation of bigotry from thor , you ignore it .

But warn me for a slightly bad name call .

If youd asked me a lot earlier id of just told you .
But you know I like to tease it out painfully,
so everybody learns including me .

I don't want Thor warned .
I want an apology from him for wrongly claiming im a bigot .
Unlikely he'll ever have the front to do that though.

And btw if i saw him face to face & the conversation was as it was here
I may well say it to his face .
Hypothetically obviously .

Not much frightens me anymore .
Not even death
Its coming & it may be sooner rather than later
so please dont ever think you know what I will or wont do, you may assume it of course,
But dont think you've got a read on me.

Im very different to anyone you're ever likely to meet
or verbally duel with .

On that ill say good night .

Iain Duncan Smith's "idiotic" admission on Brexit

The Brexiter, who had previously said that the trade deal with the EU is "oven ready", tweeted his disappointment that the Withdrawal Agreement was tilted so heavily in the EU's favour.

That is the same Withdrawal Agreement which he both voted for and also voted to speed through the House of Commons without the usual time to scrutinise it.

So imagine his surprise when he has just discovered some small print, which ties the UK to the EU's debts.

Do you ever wonder why I constantly refer to Tories as :clown :clown :clown ?

😁

So the U.K will be liable for loans to the EU corona virus loan scheme
Without the benefit of being able to apply for a loan .

Incredible oven ready deal set to go .

Ok whilst we are in the eu and we are still in it, we are liable for the debts are we not? So why would it be a surprise that we would have to contribute to the covid rescue fund? It’s like Scotland trying to walk away from the rest of the uk without its share of debts, which it could never ever sfford not be able to finance either.

I am a person who believes in paying your own way and paying yours debts in full. Yes I want to leave the eu, but only after we’ve agreed the amount that we are liable for and settling that in a proper way, only then can it be fair to everyone.

Thanks to James O’Brien I found out only this week that IDS (which is easily confused with IBS, a similar condition) is actually just plain Iain Smith, and Duncan is actually his middle name, and he just uses it to make it sound like he has a double-barrelled surname. The massive f**king tw@t.

Yep, me too actually. Was gutting seeing him just about make it through in December. He looked so angry at the public and the situation too, as if he deserves it. Scumbag. He's got House of Lords and knighthoods written all over him too. Just a disgusting man.

He had a distinguished military career before politics, was leader of his party, a cabinet member for 6 years and a leading voice in the successful leave campaign.

What have you done?
